Glass sends "Thank You" to U.S. Senator Herb Kohl

March 13, 2012

MILWAUKEE - Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association shares the type of "leadership and best practices response" that is expected when one contacts our elected officials for assistance and/or to assist in providing the best of service to the People.

Glass said, "Every day is filled with both encouraging and not-so encouraging moments of what we can and should do as representatives of the People we say we care about. Today's example is 'most encouraging'. It came from U.S. Senator Herb Kohl, our senior senator of Wisconsin. It was in response to my recent contact about preparedness in the city of Milwaukee of Homeland security/FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). His response is noteworthy in that he got right to the point and shared his contact to the FEMA department for them to contact me."

We thank Senator Kohl, look forward to providing his office with updates on our "Listening" Sessions that will start this Friday, March 16, 2012 as well as the progress expected with/from FEMA.
