Editorial - When the CULTURE breeds Greed-Exploitation/Racism/Discrimination - It hurts all

March 6, 2012

MILWAUKEE - For sometime now my office has repeatedly uncovered amazing contradictions of what is said versus what is actually done.

As a matter of fact, I have seen it in person most of my 66 years on this earth. Whether at home, in the church, in the neighborhood, in personal and professional relationships, in those we elect, in our government, in those we place our existence, in our church; and in the way our Constitution is "marched out" to make a narrow or large point.

Trust is Everything for me
How you treat me is how I rate you.
How you treat those who look like me is how I judge you.
How you treat TRUST and TRUST WORTHINESS is how I brand you.

Culture
For 5 years (2005-2010), my office engaged in an observation that looked at Code of Conduct in individual, groups, departments and organizations who sought, got and distributed government funds and/or provided government services. The terrean is filled by petri dishes creating self-serving robots in strategic positions, controlled by the "haves" in a hierarchy driven by repeated protocols set by the powers to be and their cronies. This creates separate and unequal forever. It perpetuates itself. For if something is allowed to repeat over and over, without address of balance and correctiveness, it becomes the "law".

Thus, we have over a half-million folk in an iconic city (Milwaukee) with a common denominator of "poverty" - decades of poverty - generations victimized by the petri dish robots and "trapped" by the well-connected haves that run the public square - for the most part, the perception supports.

The 5 CULTURAL DOMINATION ADDICTIONS are:
-- We do it this way - Exploitation - Racism.
-- We do it this way - Discrimination - No Access - separate, unequal and incarceration.
-- We do it this way - Co-Dependency - Milgrim model.
-- We do it this way - Gatekeeping, Assimilation - Willie Lynching
-- We do it this way - Demonizing, Denial

This is in continuous motion and therefore remains current and enforceful.

Whatever cultural addiction, it continued to breed the same environment, therefore, forcing an Enduring Concentration of Poverty - African Americans, other People of Color and Work Challenged to be mired/stuck - TRAPPED.
And, the status of poverty helps creates class-differences based on the haves.
======================
Think about it, then do something - create your confluence of ideas and actions that will "re-define, re-brand and "untrap" the People, Milwaukeeans to make a difference.

How about signing our Petition?
How about referring friends.
