The STENCH of COVER-UP - Hurts ALL of us Now and in the Future

Sunday Edition, March 24, 2013
MILWAUKEE - (MPA-PPR), Milwaukee County mourns the “unethical” actions by those in LEADERSHIP – those given the honor and privilege to serve; but, they choose to be conspirators and accomplices to wrongful acts of bias and discrimination. Thereby, dishonoring the office they serve.

Woe betides those elected, appointed and hired government servants that dishonor their Oath of Office and distain soon follows at the time they lest expect.

Accomplice
An accomplice is an individual who participates in the commission of a crime knowingly, willingly, and with common interest. An accomplice is one who intentionally aids in the commission of a crime whether or not they physically commit the act itself. An accomplice can be charged with the same crime as the principle actor who carries out the offense. In the eyes of the law, helping someone in the commission of a crime makes one just as guilty as the criminal themselves

An accessory after the fact is someone who knowingly and willingly helps the principle actors and/or the accomplice to evade arrest or trial. For example, the person who harbors the criminals after they have robbed the bank may be considered an accessory after the fact. Just like the accomplice, an accessory before or after the fact may also be charged for the crime that took place. Criminal Law Source

The Court of Public Opinion lenses can take actions (render a "guilty" vote) that apply before and/or after a legal opinion - yet never go through our judicial system – a person’s reputation can be damaged beyond repair.  The focus/interest of social media and word-of-mouth can come like swarm of locust and it is immediately a high-profile ethical and professional disaster.
