Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC adds CONSUMER PROTECTION

March 13, 2013
MILWAUKEE (MPA-PPR) -- Today, Chair/CEO, Mary Glass, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC, announced another addition to its Smart Growth Signature Initiative - All Hands on Deck, WE CAN.

It is Consumer Protection.
It has been added to the Safety Matters Series Suite and will look at discrimination, competition, bias, exploitation, fraud, scams, transparency, best practices and accountability.

Special attention is added to the AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE component that affect the public through customer care, customer information sharing, customer electronic health records, insurance selections, intellectual propriety, malpractices, pharmaceuticals, products, and patient navigation for neighborhood-vetted wraparound services.

Wisconsin is a "Federally-Facilitated Exchange" that has over 5 million people that will be processed for clearance of the Affordable Health Care insurance full implementation over the next 9 months.  Since Milwaukee is the largest city with over a half-million population, many below the "poverty-level" and many "without" health insurance, MPA LLC has made a commitment to help ensure that "Preparedness" be their priority commitment.

NEW
Recent outreach by Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC to Milwaukee County Department of Aging to introduce PREPAREDNESS to seniors for the Affordable Health Care full implementation set-off a discovery of Discrimination and Bias against a female-owned "for-profit" business.  It has also simultaneously uncovered how government employees, elected-appointed-hired, can interfere WRONGFULLY and erode TRUST, opportunity in the marketplace, loss of security, loss of confidence in product and services.

This is a form of "Consumer Protection" (somewhat in the reverse) that is being shared with the federal Financial Fraud Task Force to see how "in-house government operations", whether federal-state-local,  can target vulnerable populations such as commercial business owners working in the marketplace and offering needed Affordable Health Care preparedness services for the elderly due to bias, DISCRIMINATION, arbitrary capricious acts and failure to enforce Code of Conduct law.

MPA LLC has adopted and will mirror the goals and expectations of our Consumer Division at the federal level.  They include:
  • To FOSTER solution-building with Milwaukee County government and other local organizations for short and long-term planning and channel development that help prevent bias and DISCRIMINATION of all businesses, especially for-profit Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC.
  • To IDENTIFY leaders and organizations for sustainability.
  •  To EDUCATE the public to curb victimizing.
  • To STRENGTHEN "people protection" with enhanced civil and criminal enforcement efforts.
  • To CREATE PARTNERSHIPS through outreach in federal-state-local government agencies, People of Color chambers, neighborhood businesses, neighborhood community-based organizations, urban health care partners - health practitioners, health providers, insurance and pharmaceutical companies.

"We have adopted the format given by President Barack Obama's Financial Fraud Task Force."
"We will mirror the major concerns shared by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Stuart Delery, Civil Division, during the Consumer Protection Summit, March 3-9, 2013" said Glass.
