Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC adds Transportation - Getting it Right, May 1, 2014

WITHIN -- Neighborhood-to-Neighborhood
City Center Milwaukee | Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC kick off May with another push for All Hands on Deck, WE CAN action Initiative.  It is the push for Getting it Right in Transportation within and outside of Urban Milwaukee.

OUTSIDE -- burb-to-burb
According to Smart Growth America, "By the end of this summer, the national transportation trust fund is predicted to go bankrupt. When that happens, most states and dozens of metropolitan areas will lose the majority of the money they need to maintain and improve their transportation networks".

For decades now, transportation has been a card for the game of tourism, high-speed rail, and spin-the-bottle for dollars on hold through the transportation class-action suit brought on by Sustainable Milwaukee and others (CNI Fondy North Business Association - pre MPA LLC, was one of them).

Now, like then, Milwaukeeans are without sufficient and state-of-the art transit services for back-and-forward transportation to employment.   During the 4-Month Atonement, we will take it to the census tract and neighborhood level for enough already, this is what we, the People will commit to for Home Grown Good Faith Start.

During the 4-Month Atonement, April 7, 2014 - August 7, 2014, Transportation is one of the Smart Growth issues of the Land, People and Resource Infrastructure for action discussion by the district-2-district assembly for which the regional partner consultant, Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, will provide state-of-the-art data for strategic planning.   Our next meeting is May 17, 2014.  R.S.V.P.
