TINN Warning - INCLUSIVENESS of People of Color in Artificial Intelligence is Step I

People  with Melanin in skin tone a priority for Algothrim that drives business opportunities for tech-savvy cities in TINN Country

FEBRUARY  25, 2018
WORLDWIDE || TINN - TEAM Internet-Net Neutrality BROADBAND Initiative for the Underserved Users is working to connect the dots of the residential, commercial and industrial stakeholders in the framework and creativity of Broadband services in a robust way that will create the technical Infrastructure break-through for SMART city development in the counties of Milwaukee, Racine, and Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Since algorithms are being created that will make the difference between access and success, TINN is exploring state-of-the-art AI business models and business opportunities for technical standards built-in to their products that benefit the global market.

"We are acutely aware of the discovery by Joy Buolamwini, MIT scientist, Rhodes and Fulbright scholar, and Founder of  Algorithmic Justice League of the bias that can be embedded in Artificial Intelligence that affects folks of Color", said Mary Glass, MPA LLC, Chief Visionary Officer. "In fact, AI review in security and surveillance by Foxconn is one of the first order of business to ensure there is NO bias in recognition as well as how best to combat profiling of any kind"

Step I Algorithm policy for TINN Broadband Country in southeastern Wisconsin lowlands is ensuring that People of Color - African, African American, American Indian, Asian, Asian Indian, Latino and other cultures with melanin in the genetic background are a part of Artificial Intelligence/AI pre-requsite for 21st Century algorithmic empowerment.

There are 8 areas.  They are:
  1. INTERNET OF THINGS
  2. AUGMENTED REALITY
  3. VIRTUAL REALITY
  4. BLOCKCHAIN
  5. 3-D PRINTING
  6. DRONES
  7. ROBOTS
  8. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
In the vast field of expectation of AI in the global sphere, it is a hot button area in technology that is exploding.  In order to be proficient, access, literacy, and use are the major platforms for connectivity to TINN Broadband.

It is also a source of research, policy development, training, cross-education, peer-citizenship-jury review, and partnership to create a technical architecture, norms, and scalable outcomes.

SHOW 59 - Remembering Al Jarreau, Guest Architect Richard Kauper, Valentine's Day & Year of the Dog

Airdate:  February 12, 2018

FEBRUARY 13, 2018
CITY-WIDE MILWAUKEE || This week's show included our beloved Al Jarreau - ALWIN LOPEZ "AL" JARREAU  (March 12, 1940 - February 12, 2017); a conversation with Resident Commentator Richard Kauper, Amazing Architecture; and a shout-out for Valentine's Day (February 14) and the Chinese Year of the Dog (February 16).
================
REMEMBERING AL JARREAU - Alwin Lopez "AlJarreau (March 12, 1940 – February 12, 2017) was an American singer and musician. He received a total of seven Grammy Awards and was nominated for over a dozen more. Jarreau is perhaps best known for his 1981 album Breakin' Away. He also sang the theme song of the late-1980s television series  Moonlighting, and was among the performers on the 1985 charity song "We Are the World."
Jarreau was born in MilwaukeeWisconsin on March 12, 1940,[1] the fifth of six children. The Jarreau website refers to Reservoir Avenue, the name of the street where he lived. Jarreau's father was a Seventh-day Adventist Church minister and singer, and his mother was a church pianist. Jarreau and his family sang together in church concerts and in benefits, and he and his mother performed at PTA meetings.[2]

Jarreau was student council president and Badger Boys State delegate for Lincoln High School. At Boys State, he was elected governor.[3] Jarreau went on to attend Ripon College, where he also sang with a group called the Indigos. He graduated in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology.[1] Two years later, in 1964, he earned a master's degree in vocational rehabilitation from the University of Iowa. Jarreau also worked as a rehabilitation counselor in San Francisco and moonlighted with a jazz trio headed by George Duke. In 1967, he joined forces with acoustic guitarist Julio Martinez.[4] The duo became the star attraction at a small Sausalito nightclub called Gatsby's. This success contributed to Jarreau's decision to make professional singing his life and a full-time career.

Above are 4 of the many favorites of Beloved Al Jarreau.

Notice the "scat" - Improvised jazz singing in which the voice is used in imitation of an instrument quality in BOOGIE DOWN.

Saint Valentine's Day
by
RICHARD KAUPER - February 10, 2018

As we pass from the darkness into the light of this new day - we will dream, we will laugh, we will love,

I hold your hand so near to my heart as your touch takes my breath away.

I ask only for your endless love as we travel on this journey into a distant future.

Taken from the collection of Life's Reflections & Expressions

******************************************************

It is important to remember:  How we treat our companion, true love, signifcant other, each day should bring us a peaceful understanding * It is not about the candies which get consumed or the flowers that eventfully wilt * It is about all of the other 364 days of every year that kees this flame glowing in our soul with the things we do for others that sp0arks this endless love and devotion to them.
