"THANK YOU, Mr. Potts, Chairman of Center Street BID 39", said Mary Glass, Chief Visionary Officer, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC.

HE has launched leadership and stewardship that demands "ALL HANDS ON DECK".  Right now!

I like his honesty and temperament that he starts with the REMOVAL of the BRAND (HIDTA - High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) to the area.

It is so important that we connect to the optics and names that exceed our goodwill and sincerity. We can work day and night-365/7days a week/24 hours each day but do not call for an area/neighborhood that respects itself, we defeat the cause.

We can call the shots that remove the problem without throwing the baby out with the bath water. It is also important that the tag "high drug-trafficking neighborhoods" does not remain. It speaks negative volumes about the tens of thousand within Mr. Potts area and contiguous neighborhoods that ARE NOT TRUE.

It broad brush ALL and paints the picture of the dense population of African American stakeholders/taxpayers that is false.

We MUST go on record with Mr. Potts, property owner, business owner and BID 39 administrator, that we go to work (sometimes 2/3 jobs) every day to support ourselves and our families that have nothing to do with "drug use or trade"

We MUST Step Up and remove the status quo.
When we FAIL TO STAND UP in SOLIDARITY, it gives way to profiling, roughshoding/massive invasion of our homes by law enforcement disrespecting our civil-legal-human rights, pitting us against each other (confidential INFORMANTS) misrepresenting the truth and increasing incarceration.

Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC strongly suggest Chairman Potts, Executive Director Jennifer Potts, and the Board add this to their Smart Growth Plan for their neighborhood/area.

We applaud Chairman PottsReggie Woodward, Vaun Mayes and supporters in the audience (included Alderman Russell Stamper, District 15) for kicking the campaign off.

NOW it is our turn to link-up with BID 39 to support in 100% engagement.

Sign U.S. Senator Kamala Harris Petition regarding Candidate Kavanaugh

U. S. Senator Kamala Harris
“Every moment is an organizing opportunity, every person a potential activist, every minute a chance to change the world.”
– Dolores Huerta
I walked out, Mary.
Republicans are rushing Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation with a sham hearing this morning, less than 24 hours after Dr. Ford had the courage to tell her story in front of the entire country. This is a disgrace.
So, instead of sitting through this farce... I walked out.
Setting a vote on Kavanaugh this soon after Dr. Ford’s testimony and before we’ve even had an independent FBI investigation into the multiple allegations of sexual assault that have been made against him is outrageous.
We haven’t even given the public the chance to make their voices heard after listening to Dr. Ford’s testimony. You deserve better.
Now, it’s up to the full Senate — and that’s why I’m asking:
Things are moving fast. I’ll be in touch soon.
— Kamala
P.S. Make those calls and shut this process down: (202) 224-3121.

Disadvantaged girls change their communities by learning to code

Lagos, Nigeria (CNN) Sharon Okpoe has lived her entire 17 years in Makoko—known as the world's largest "floating slum"—built on a lagoon in Lagos, Nigeria.
Rickety shacks stand on stilts in the polluted water. Canoes are required transportation through the maze of narrow canals. Okpoe's father is a fisherman, and her mother sells smoked fish, eking out a living on the fringes of Africa's largest city.
Lagos has a thriving economy built on oil, finance, and manufacturing. And the city is now considered Nigeria's Silicon Valley, with Facebook and Google opening offices there earlier this year.
Yet it's estimated that as many as two-thirds of the city's 21 million residents live in slums that lack reliable electricity, clean water, and sanitation.

Mary, I've made mistakes

September 19, 2018

Mary --

On Monday, Paul Ryan's super PAC launched an attack ad against me and announced they'd spend $1.5 million to keep the hits coming until Election Day.

I've been honest about the mistakes I've made in the past, and I always knew they would come up when I ran for office, but it's tough watching the truth get twisted around into a bunch of misleading cheap shots. And I'll be honest -- it really stings to think my mom and my son are seeing these lies about me on television.

But then Paul Ryan launched another attack ad this week, one that sank to a new low. They're exploiting political differences in my family and trying to claim that I hate cops.

My dad was a cop. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a cop just like my dad. Later, I joined the military and served in the Army. I was going to be a cop when I got out, but I found my calling as an ironworker. My brother is a cop -- and while he is a Republican who voted for Donald Trump and Scott Walker, I respect him just as I respect the heck out of anyone who serves our country or communities with honor and integrity.

But if someone unjustly or unethically causes harm to another person, I'll speak out. It doesn't matter to me if the wrongdoer is a cop, a politician, or if it's the President of the United States.

In Paul Ryan's latest ad, he claims I'm a cop-hater because I criticized Scott Walker's Capitol police force for harassing a disabled veteran activist exercising her constitutional right to free speech at Wisconsin's State Capitol.

This is what Paul Ryan does. He misleads. He lies. He slanders. He'll do anything and everything he can to make sure the Koch Brothers and his lobbyist friends keep their power in Washington.

So while Paul Ryan is busy attacking the pension funds and Social Security benefits that actually help police officers, along with all working people, I'm going to keep fighting back. With honesty and integrity.

So please, if you can, stand with this movement to build a bigger table for everyone by chipping in $5 now.

In solidarity,

Randy Bryce
