GLASS gets stolen Research Box from UW-Milwaukee Police - Suspicious and TELLING

MILWAUKEE - March 17, 2012 marked one month since I was released from the Milwaukee County Jail after a 30-hour incarceration due to a “suspicious” warrant arrest. By the way, as information is OK to report about the “criminal case” alleged against Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association, she will share.

On Friday, February 17, 2012, Glass wrote the first blog to inform the public square of her strange and suspicious warrant arrest at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Student Union Building, 2200 E. Kenwood on February 15, 2012. The blog was called DEVELOPING STORY - Things are NOT always what they seem; MARY Glass says she will check and verify.

In the blog, it was mentioned that Glass discovered that all her property was not given back upon her release from Milwaukee County Jail. Her property was a PINK and WHITE research box. It was left in the care of the University of WI - Milwaukee Campus Police, Officers D. Brown and J. Buszik, the arresting officers.

Arrest
Glass was arrested on the campus of UW-Milwaukee and transported to UW-Milwaukee jail. From there, she was transported to Milwaukee Police Department (downtown) by Milwaukee Police Officer Murphy – fingerprinted, held until about midnight and then transferred to Milwaukee County Sheriff Department. Sometime during this timeframe the PINK and WHITE Research box went missing/stolen.

Report of law enforcement removal/theft
Glass experienced difficulty in reporting removal/theft prior to leaving county jail – proper person said to not be available – Glass informed Release Officer for checkout and lady who refunded money.

After release, Glass formally reported the removal/theft two (2) times to:
-- WI Governor Scott Walker
-- WI University of Wisconsin Board of Regents
-- County Executive Chris Abele
-- Mayor Tom Barrett
-- County Sheriff David Clarke
NO response.

Police Report
Glass requested copy of UW-Milwaukee police record of the "Warrant Arrest" for Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee County Sheriff office.

At first, verbal request, she was told there was NO record - The record would be at Milwaukee Police Department.

After a written request to UW-Milwaukee Chief Michael Marzion - he referred Glass request to: UW-Milwaukee Attorney Amy Watson, Public Records Custodian.
Glass received UW-Milwaukee Police Report.

What's notable is the last entry on the UW-Milwaukee Police Report states the following:
"Brown turned over Mary Glass and all of her property to MPD Officer Murphy"

Pink and White Box

This is significant because on this past Wednesday, March 14, 2012, while entering UW Union, a UW-Milwaukee Safety Officer Marion approached Glass with the news of "4-5 flash drives of hers had been found" and could be picked up at the UW Police Department. To which Glass asked Officer Marion who found the property. She did not know. When found? She did not know. Where was it found? She replied, in the Union. How did she know the property belonged to Glass? Officer Marion stated that there was something inside that said it was.

Officer Marion said she was on her way for another reason, saw me, she knew me and thought she would tell me that my flash drives were at the UW Police Department. She stated that after 90 days they are discarded.

How did she know who I was?
Have I become the roll call subject and my photo passed around?
Why wasn’t I contacted by Chief Marzion, Attorney Watson or someone at the desk of UW-Milwaukee – rather than, “just-in-passing” - especially since I had in 2 formal complaints to the governor, board of regents, county executive, mayor and county sheriff.

Did someone think that I would think this is “all so innocent” and not “suspect”?
Since this was in the morning before 10 am - Glass waited the rest of the business day for official contact – No other contact was made to her.

After 6 pm on March 14, 2012, Glass went to UW-Milwaukee Police Department and announced she was there to pick up property.

After looking for a moment - boxes and computer - Safety Officer George Geovgiafandis emerged with the "PINK and WHITE" research box with the 4 gigabyte flash drive - the Research box removed/stolen during my suspicious "warrant arrest” - 30 hour incarceration by UW-Milwaukee Police, Milwaukee Police Department and Milwaukee County Sheriff Department.

How did the removed/stolen Research box with the flash drive get on the campus of UW-Milwaukee especially if all my property was turned over to MPD Murphy? Or, is this the “staged” version for confusion?

Glass was told by Safety Officer Marion, earlier that day, a box with four/five disks had been identified as hers was for pick-up (this would of been the box stolen over a year ago and reported stolen) - She got there and it was the other Research box removed/stolen on February 15-16 and said to have been passed on to MPD (POLICE REPORT).

Glass said, "I asked Officer Geovgiafandis for a report of the findings. There was NO report. Then, I told him that I could not take the box without some type of documentation. He seemed baffled. I then asked for a superior - at that same time another officer came in and asked if there was a problem. I explained that I needed some documentation. To which I then asked for a superior. Lt. John Krusick appeared and I asked him the same, for documentation - he too, said there was no documentation - questions should be to Officer Reinke - who found the property. He was off and would return between 6 am - 6 p.m. the next day. I asked about who marked the box and I was given the name of Safety Officer Juan Garcia. I took a photo of the box and officers present."

"I will place an Inquiry to Chief Marzione with a cc: to Attorney Amy Watson - as well as, all the other previous contacts with a Call for Investigation of this - removal/theft by one or all 3 of the law enforcements."

Whereas the PINK and WHITE research box was picked up at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Police Department, and would say they misrepresented facts on the report and have manufactured a return of the property in a "found" scenario on February 26, 2012, Glass says she needs answers.

Then, there is the question of where are the flash drives Officer Marion alluded to? Where is my book bag that the research box was in?

You betcha Glass has thoughts but she want them to provide clarity.

What do you think?
