BREAKING NEWS - GLASS adds "Southeastern Wisconsin REGIONAL Plan"

U.S. Department of Labor - WIRED - Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development for U.S. Office of Justice Investigation

MILWAUKEE - Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association announced this afternoon that her office has added the "WIRED/Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development" for Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning for scrutiny and widespread "DISCRIMINATION" of Milwaukeeans, especially African American, other People of Color and the Work Challenged (un-, under-employed; un-, under-degreed and certificated; un-, under-financed neighborhood-level business; disabled; and re-entry - especially those returning from WAR, INCARCERATION, BOOMERANG EMPLOYMENT, BOOMERANG RETIREMENT and DEGREED students without employment). The requested focus is on the Milwaukee 7, Greater Milwaukee Committee and Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce involvement in this initiative.

Glass said, "There were/are specific guidelines and a specific criterion to assure INCLUSION. It is clear that as far back as 2009, I made specific contacts to the Department of Labor - Janet Sten, Chief, Division of Workforce System Support, ex-governor Jim Doyle, Mayor Tom Barrett, Roberta Gassman - Deputy Assistant Secretary of Employment and Training - U.S. Department of Labor, was Wisconsin Secretary of Workforce Development under ex-governor Doyle, Michael Mortell, Regional Project Manager - Souhtestern Region Wisconsin (also staff member of Waukesha Community Technical College) and others to seek input as to INCLUSION for Milwaukeeans, especially hidden talent at the neighborhood level for employment, training and business development. Michael Mortell and other local representatives refused to respond."

Secretary Grassman, Mayor Tom Barrett, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation, Tim Sheehy - Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce and Milwaukee 7 were involved in questionable "special" funding through secretary Grassman's office Workforce Development that excluded Milwaukeeans, especially African American and other People of Color at the neighborhood level. Mayor Barrett would not respond.

Roberta Gassman - Deputy Assistant Secretary of Employment and Training Administration.
