MILWAUKEE, WI - We look at the Election field for the city of Milwaukee and see that out of the 15 districts, there are six (6) positions that are NOT contested at this time. They are:

-- Alderman Ashanti Hamilton - District 1
-- Alderman Joe Davis, Sr. - District 2
-- Alderman Nik Kovac - District 3
-- Alderman Bob Bauman - District 4
-- Alderman Jim Bohl - District 5
-- Alderman Willie Wade - District 7

Enduring Concentrated Poverty - 2010 Flood
Given the condition of the city of Milwaukee, Enduring Concentrated Poverty and Lack of Preparedness - technology/digital divide and Diaster, the fact that 1/3 of the city stewardship is allowed to be UNCONTESTED speaks volumes as to why we are in a 5-decade plus plummeting of the conditions of African American, other People of Color and the Work-Challenged.

These are aldermen that were at the table in Chair positions OR at least voting positions, for the 2005-2006 City of Milwaukee Wireless - Midwest Fiber Networks debacle, transportation fiasco, outsourcing of Milwaukee assets, disparity study, brownfied, tax credits, take-over of Milwaukee 7, take-over of Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce, takeover of the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation (with questionable business ties of members - i.e., Fred Lubar and Julie Penman), University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee real estate and School of Business) windfall, out-of-control of code of conduct and budget for Rocky Marcoux, Martha Brown and the Department of Public Works, miscellaneous use of the Community Development Block Grant funding and Steve Mahan arrogance and failure to provide information, Great Lakes Water issues; and the 2010 Flood (2 times) to name a few.

RE-BOOT
It is time for a RE-BOOT to "re-define", "re-brand" and "un-trap" over a half-million Milwaukeeans. It calls for ALL Hands on Deck, especially those who take the Steward leadership positions in City Hall, 200 E. Wells, 2nd Floor, Milwaukee, WI 53202 - BOTH the south and north end of the 2nd floor.

History
Now to SPEAK of history/legacy of these elected officials. The average time-served of the six incumbents, is eight (8) years, two terms - long enough to IMPACT. The one with almost one term, 4 years, is Alderman Nik Kovac, 3rd District. Nik Kovac is the Alderman with stewardship for the city of Milwaukee dealing with the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.

There are five out of six aldermen of this group that make up 1/3 senior representation.

Time Served
Alderman Hamilton - April 20, 2004, 8 years
Alderman Davis - April 1, 2003 (special election date), 9 years

=====================

I will be back with more and what the focus of support-accountability for creating a more "prepared, "competitive and in control of assets" city with hands-on, "informed", "engaged" and "connected to the constituency at the neighborhood level" leadership.

Homeland Security
