Ailey Returns to Lincoln Center: June 11-22
After a triumphant 2013 season, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to Lincoln Center in June for two weeks only.  Choose from four programs that demonstrate the Company’s phenomenal artistic range and universal appeal.  Featured works include a world premiere by Robert Moses – known for sexy, sophisticated choreography that makes audiences want to dance, too – as well as a new production of Hans van Manen’s Polish Pieces, David Parsons’ signature work Caught, and the rare opportunity to see Asadata Dafora’s groundbreaking 1932 solo Awassa Astrige/Ostrich.  Other highlights include an encore of Wayne McGregor’s Chroma, the “Ailey/Ellington” program, and Mr. Ailey’s masterpiece Revelations
