Michael
Ewing, what inspired me to write the booklet,
"Will the real Israel stand up?" is the fact that as black
people (or people of direct African descent) aren't aware of the role they
played in global history. On the other
hand you have some black folks who are African conscious but have the mistake
ideal that the Bible is "the white man's book". That couldn't be further from the truth.
It
has always been my dream to see a book published that dealt with the richness
of our African culture and at the same time brought out the African culture
that is rich among the Hebrew culture.
It occurred to me that if I want such a book published I have to be the
one to do it. I also seen the
psychological harm done to the psyche of our people by not knowing who they
are, which I knew needed to be addressed.
Those are some of the reasons why I felt the need to have this booklet
written. Thank you for listening.
