MPA LLC 4-Month Invoked Atonement & Reparation July Newsletter - Day 129

City Center Milwaukee | DAY 129 | Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC continues to chronicle the events of its 4-Month Invoked Atonement & Reparation assessment to "take stock" of the services provided by our elected-appointed-hired representatives.

North Avenue Commerce Center - Phase II
North Avenue Commerce Center
The process evolved from the investigation/research and observations by Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC,  in the fiasco of 19-Plus years of mismanagement of the people's business with the creation, oversight and phase-out of the 4- Phase North Avenue Commerce Center, 24th Street to 27th Street on North Avenue in census tract #99.

The fiasco involving process and procedures, annual comprehensive audits, GAB/Government Accountability Board reports and other related reporting by the various processing agents of authority in the city of Milwaukee.  Namely, the City Planning Commission, RACM, Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee, DCD/Department of City Development, elected aldermen - Fred Gordon, Willie Wade and Willie Hines, the Common Council (1993-2013), Martin Morics-comptroller, Wayne Whittow-Treasurer, Grant Langley-city attorney, John Norquist-mayor, Marvin Pratt-Acting mayor, Martin Matson-comptroller, Spencer Coggs-treasurer and Tom Barrett-mayor.  The accountabilty of these charter officers over the years include the financial management statement responsibility of ALL audits, especially separate ones proformed for RACM and related components for phases 1-2-3-4 of North Avenue Commerce Center.

The straw that ignited the firestorm was the disenfranchisement of the citizenry that originally and at sale that provided taxes and investment in land use after "unvetted" and give-away" of the remaining 7.5 acres of land (not developed) for Sisters of Assisi and St. Ann Center.

Failure of Alderman/Common Council President Willie Hines to get authorization of sale and change of zoning through engagement of the citizenry of the 15 District.
