CHEERS, THANK YOU - ARRA FUNDING
THANK YOU President Obama!
Thank you Elected Officials of Milwaukee County!
This tribute is to say, "YES!" "Cheers" - To the use of our federal funding. It allows residential, commercial and visitors to enjoy travel by bus in Milwaukee County.
Milwaukee received a chuck of funding - it went to the NORMAL sources". Those who could of/should of received, were for the most part left out - as usual.
Diesel Buses
One bright shining reminder are the green, blue, yellow and white, clean emission (un-smelly), environmental-friendly, less-noise and a blue interior.
In July, 2010, the $16,396,889 from the ARRA/American Recovery and Reinvestment Act jumpstart the purchase of 90 buses in Milwaukee.
A large population of Milwaukeeans depend on Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) to go to work, school, grocery/shop, drop-off/pick-up children, travel to church, the doctor and to run errands.
I am one of them with a monthly pass investment.
Let's see that we keep them looking nice both outside and in.
