Dublin, Ireland was the first stop. Moneygall, the tiny village in County Offaly is the ancestral homeland of President Obama's great-great-great grandfather on his Kansas-born mother's side.

Their travels toke them Ireland, England, France and Poland, hosted by Polish President Komorowski. Poland was the final stop.

They are walking to lunch after their first meeting at the G8 Summit on May 26, 2011 in Deauville, France.



G8 Conference - #37th
The 37th Conference for the G8 was hosted by President Nicholas Sarkozy in France.

The Group of Eight (G8) is composed of the eight major economies of the world: France; Germany; Italy; Japan; the United Kingdom; the United States; Canada and Russia.

The eight countries announced the "Deauville Partnership," which includes $20 billion of economic assistance for Middle East and North Africa nations in political transition.
