MPA Creates NEW strength to All Hands on Deck Initiative

MILWAUKEE, WI - MPA BOOSTING GRADUATION NETWORK was added today as another link for strengthening the capacity building of ALL Hands on Deck. It will promote dialog and sharing with others who have also seen it as a benefit in helping to make our country globally competitive.

The Call to Action BOOSTING GRADUATION RATES was initiated on March 22, 2011 by Vice President Joseph Biden. It was another star for the Education and Technology push of the Obama Administration.

President Barack Obama's Call to Service for America to be globally competitive by 2020 ask that we accomplish Education and Technology attainment.

Milwaukee Professionals Association embraced his Call to Service as well as the BOOSTING GRADUATION RATES. The idea was added as a "touchstone" for the All Hands on Deck, WE, Not Me Initiative. The All Hands on Deck Initiative building blocks for graduation to employment and business entrepreneurship starts with high school. It includes graduating from Apprenticeship programs, graduating from "certificated" programs and graduation degrees (2-year through all levels of college).

"Boosting graduation at the neighborhood-level, from high school through all degrees of college, will help ensure that the BOTTOM-UP Recovery plan has legs", said Mary Glass, Corporate leader for MPA's vanguard initiative.
