MPA LLC Supports District 1 Alderman Ashanti Hamilton - NEW COMMON COUNCIL PRESIDENT

CITY OF MILWAUKEE
APRIL 19, 2016

Alderman Ashanti Hamilton is a candidate for the 48th Common Council President for the City of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC feels that Alderman Ashanti Hamilton has the wherewithal to be one of the best or BEST Common Council President in Milwaukee.

We base our knowledge on:

  • He brings broadness of knowledge to the position of Common Council President as Chair member  of the Library Board, member of the powerful finance and personnel committee and Wisconsin Center District Directors, member of the Steering Committee and Judiciary and Legislative Committee Chair.
  • The People will help him engage true leadership and commitment to the People's business.
  • His desire to EXCEL in this position of leadership, stewardship and authority.
  • He is respected by his colleague.

We feel that he is well-seasoned in the politics at city hall.
He has served on committees and boards that have provided INFRASTRUCTURE concerns.
His broadness of experience has shown how the Executive side works as well as how his colleagues on the common council can work together.

He will be the consensus-builder with the NEIGHBORHOODS showing incremental changes in quality of life and economic development.

He can face the CHALLENGES that will come in the next 4 years with exceptional growth and NEW branding of REAL leadership at the Common Council level.

He knows of and will work to improve PATTERNS and PRACTICES of city hall business with the administrative support of the City Clerk's office as well as the city's roles and responsibilities of the charter officers when representing the People.

As a member of the council with a law degree, he should have skills sets of legal persuasions that will help ensure that changes - reforms - tweaking - leadership - stewardship - capacity building and providing an Open Door policy to City Hall through the Common Council - legislative branch.

BETTER USE OF CITY RESOURCES.
BETTER RELATIONSHIP, INCLUSIVENESS and RESPECT for the CORE CONSTITUENTS - ALL MILWAUKEEANS.
