MPA LLC Week in Review - July 13-18, 2015 - Text4Baby - Tuesday, July 14, 2015

Dear MARY,
ZERO TO THREE (ZTT), the nonprofit home of Text4baby, provides many professional resources to individuals and organizations who work with young children and their families. One group of professionals we develop targeted resources for is home visitors. We know many of our partners are home visitors, or provide home visiting resources through their organizations, so we would like to make you aware of some of these resources that are available to you.

On the ZTT website, you can find a page dedicated to home visiting resources. Here you will find information about the history of home visiting, as well as the establishment of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program (MIECHV). You can find links to resources such as policy briefs and planning tools, as well as presentations and journal articles.

Our home visiting partners are already doing so much to help the moms, children, and families they work with, including helping them get signed up for Text4baby, and we hope that you can find some extra support and resources through the ZTT home visiting resource page.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Murphy
Senior Program Manager, Text4baby

Quote of the Week

"What I found most beneficial with using Text4baby is the support for breastfeeding. I am now a successful breastfeeding mother of a 3-month-old baby girl, thanks to Text4baby for providing every hotline that supports a mother's choice to breastfeed."

 - Erica L. from National Park, NJ (Virgin Mobile user)
