June 5, 2012 - RECALL Election and SMART Politics

"Tonight, the citizens of Racine County voted for checks and balances in our state legislature. I look forward to working with my colleagues in the state senate,” said John Lehman - Racine. Wisconsin.

MILWAUKEE (MPA) - The day after "Recall 2012 in Wisconsin".  The rancour will recede and Plan B and C will take shape.

Congratulation to Candidate John Lehman, Racine, Wisconsin for reclaiming his seat.
Congratulation to the other side of the isle - Democratic majority.
Congratulation to all who have been allowed the privilege of working as a state public servant for the people of Wisconsin by winning.

Kathy Demet, 48, of Sturtevant, Wisconsin who is on disability said, “When you are a poor person, like on disability, you have to vote for people who let you live. Walker wants to take all that away from people.” Journal Times.

For the People, it is a great time for assessment of sustainability - an evaluation to prepare for the re-purposing of the BIG VOTE in November, 2012 for Candidate Barack Obama's election.

It means a walk toward SOLIDARITY.
It means linking with the URBAN population in a way never before seen - a powerful whip - if mobilized.

It means All Hands on Deck.
African American, other People of Color and the Work-Challeged (un-, under-employed; un-, under-degreed and certificated; un-, under-financed neighborhood-level business; disabled; and re-entry - especially those returning from WAR, INCARCERATION, BOOMERANG EMPLOYMENT, BOOMERANG RETIREMENT and DEGREED students without employment) were NOT engaged in the ELECTION on June 5, 2012  - in part, due to alienation and lack of shown results that affect quality of life and economic development.
They were for eight (8) years discriminated against - jobs outsourced to neighboring counties by Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce, Greater Milwaukee Committee and the Milwaukee 7 contributed to both  Candidates Scott Walker and Tom Barrett; discriminatory reports by DWilson report, Federal Reserve Case study report along with many many more, Candidate Tom Barrett failed to appear at the May 2, 2012 Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce debate;  failed takeover of Milwaukee Public Schools, crushed 9-5 work pay referendum to name a few - yet asked to support the candidate that disenfranchised them and have done "0" to advance them and their families.

Candidate Scott Walker and the Republican Party failed to reach out to the critical mass of People of Color (3/4 of population) and emonized the city - the city that failed to support as county executive and is now as the governor.

Being more informed - access to vote, awareness of how to vote and what is needed to vote; and, passing it on for massive ground-swell.

Being at the table from the jump-off.

Milwaukee Professionals Association supports INCLUSION of African American, other People of Color and the Work Challeged.

Yesterday's lack of support at the ballot box speaks to why the Democratic Party or any party must be inclusive and respectful to ALL.
