- U. S. Congresswoman Gwen Moore, 4th District
- State Senator Lena Taylor, 4th District
- State Representative Jason Fields, 17th District
- State Representative Barbara Toles, 17th District
- State Representative Tamara Grigsby, 18th District
- Alderman, 15th District and Common Council President Willie Hines
- Alderman Willie Wade, 10th District
- Alderman Ashanti Hamilton, 1st District
- Alderman Joe Davis, 2nd District
This is the year of CHANGE.
This is the year of "political will and savvy".
This is an Election year that can bring tsunami changes if we are smart and engaged in strategy agreements - to re-define, re-brand and UN-TRAP a half-million Milwaukeeans.
This is an Election year that can completely REMOVE the status quo of Enduring Concentrated Poverty in Milwaukee with the right "MIND-SET" in local, state and national offices.
This is an Election year that African American, People of Color and Work-Challenged (un-, under-employed; un-, under-degreed and certificated; un-, under-financed neighborhood-level business; disabled; and re-entry - especially those returning from WAR, INCARCERATION, BOOMERANG EMPLOYMENT, BOOMERANG RETIREMENT and DEGREED students without employment) individuals must be about cracking-the-the-"Whip", NOT to be Whipped".
This is an Election year about LEADERSHIP, not DISMAY.
This is an Election about standing up to both the RIGHT and LEFT that fail to be INCLUSIVE of African American, other People of Color and the Work Challenged at an INFRASTRUCTURAL level.
What has Candidate Tom Barrett put on the table, in a plan of agreement for accountability, that African American and other People of Color can get excited about? We have had the false promise, bait-n-switch, divide and conquer and failure to fulfill his promises for 8 full years.
Generic promises are part of Etch-n-sketch politics to get votes - just like promising a few African Americans positions that have NO - ABSOLUTELY NO power in his administration.

Endorsement
We know the Democratioc Party will ask for endorsement and support - We know that the 9 African American elected officials mentioned in this article are attempting to show solidarity.
My concern is:
- What have U.S. Congresswoman Moore, State Senator Taylor, State Representatives Fields, Grigsby and Toles, Alderman/Common Council President Hines, and Aldermen Davis, Hamilton and Wade "NEGOTIATED" for the people they are elected to serve in the Enduring Concentrated Poverty city of Milwaukee that they can hold Candidate for Governor Tom Barrett accountable of?
This year's political season will not embrace politicians seen as paying back markers that are weighted in "personal gain"?
Oh, I know that the team spirit is necessary.
Oh, I know that one hand deserves the other.
Oh, I know the party-gaming; but, I want to know WHAT HAVE THEY bargain to completeness and specificity with Candidate Barrett?
In view of the fact that Tom Barrett for the last eight years have openly and consistently discriminated in his own "divide-and-conquer" strategies against their dominate constituency of People of Color in Milwaukee.
Since we know that each elected official is to represent all of its constituents, all races. We are negotiating for those who have been "by-design" left out of the deal-making as evidence by frequent case studies, reports and extreme high UNEMPLOYMENT.
We seek an equal playing field, we can/will take it from there.
U. S. Congresswoman Moore, State Representative Grigsby and Alderman Hamilton are three of the endorsers for Barrett that "opposed" the takeover of Milwaukee Public Schools by Candidate for Governor Tom Barrett.
To the contrary, Senator Taylor and Alderman/Common Council President Hines were supporting Barrett. Since we do not recall outspoken actions of State Representative Fields and Toles or Aldermen Davis and Wade, we are not sure of what their position was.
For the 9, We the People, need to know if they have jointly garnered a WinWin strategy so that if Tom Barrett is elected, our public school system will remain in tact.
For the 9, We the People, need to know specifics in the first 100 Days to change the dismal DWilson study and exclusion of African Americans and People of Color in economic development.
For the 9, We the People, need to know that Barrett will not get the position in Madison and "continue to disc the People and City of Milwaukee - as Scott Walker, present governor has.
For the 9, We the People, need to know if it will continue to be Tim Sheehy, Julie Taylor, Gale Klappa and the clan - Greater Milwaukee Committee, Bradley Foundation, Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce and Milwaukee 7 that will be pulling strings for running the state of Wisconsin as they have successfully done in Milwaukee; or is it the Greater Milwaukee area.
In Barrett's 2004 Inaugural Speech, he talked like he is talking now - that was/is not what he did. It is why the broad support of Mlwaukeeans are not rallying behind his campaign.

For the 9, bring home, business development and increased per capital income opportunities through state-of-the-art business options for Milwaukeeans, the People - ESTABLISH TRUST.
