Remembering "Liz" - Actress, Activist, Humanitarian

WOMEN'S MONTH

Dame Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, Liz Taylor
February 27, 1932 – March 23, 2011
English/American Actress
Born in Hampstead, London, England
Died in Beverly Hills, CA - Cedars Sinai Hospital

Beverly Hills, CA - Wednesday, March 23, 2011, is the day that
well-known former child star, famous actress and beauty, ELIZABETH TAYLOR, passed after several weeks in the hospital with congestive Heart illness.

The world will remember Ms. Taylor for the many hours of sultry, passionate, back-in-the-day, full-blown real acting. She was a beautiful woman with flawless diamond-value, that lived her life in your face - affairs, husbands, divorces and all.

Liz is known for her activism and support of others - a williness to speak up and out for friends and AIDS. She has spent many hours and raised millions in fundraisers for AIDS.

She and Micheal Jackson, Superstar, became close friends. She attended his private funeral in 2009.

She has won many awards including two oscars; one for Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf -considered her favorite work. She also won the hearts of many fans, one of whom is me.

My favorite movies by her are:
- A Place in the Sun - w/Montgomery Clift and Shelley Winters
- Cat on a Hot Tin Roof - w/Paul Newman
- Cleopatra - w/Richard Burton
- GIANT w/Rock Hudson
- Lassie Come Home w/Roddy McDowell
- National Velvet w/Mickey Rooney

Enjoy your ride Elizabeth!
