Looking for Book Deal - 83 Days and Counting
Milwaukee, WI - Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association, is seeking a "book publisher" to tell the needed story of her data points of injustices received by not only her but fellow proud and committed NAACP members in Milwaukee and around the country during the last election cycle for branches of the NAACP.
This is not a "hate" book.
It is a book to honor the name of NAACP in its original state; but, to rebuke the abusive actions of those hired, elected and/or appointed.
It is a book to help ensure that when the next election cycle comes, 2012, steps will be in place to stop the desecration of the brand - name of NAACP. To call for and reclaim the values where so many of my people, African American, have been denied, bullied, discriminated against, tortured, demeaned, fire bombed, shot at and shot dead for civil rights. To remember and honor the African Americans and Caucasians that formed the organization. To remember why so many races have stepped up to help make the organization what it is today.
It needs to be told. I feel this proud, 65 year old, no-nonsense independent, who help fought for the name and justice back in the 1960's will do it justice.

I'll be back.
