Patient-Centered Affordable Health Care Briefings - Generation X, Y and Z

Prince Hall Grand Lodge - 600 W. Walnut Street, Lower Auditorium, Milwaukee, WI  53212
=========================

MILWAUKEE (MPA) - September 19, 2012 - Patient - Centered engagement for better health care, health wellness and cost savings.

What Is the Affordable Health Care Briefing/Discussion About?
Recognition of veterans and the "spirit" of the campaign will provide a special opening presentation that will highlight the upbeat of the 15 month patient/customer and service provider campaign.

Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC, will kick-off the discussion with the theme, All Hands on Deck, WE, Can - Affordable Health  Care Act to support "preparedness" by Milwaukeeans for implementation of the Affordable Health Care Act, January 1, 2014.  Followed by morning and afternoon panelists/speakers and discussions.

 A special announcement of an IT/Information Technology website partnership between MPA LLC and a national online website for Milwaukeeans.  It is one of the ways to put IT in the Hands of Milwaukeeans.

Invited are patients, consumers, students, providers, clinicians, researchers and members of the public-social-private-government sectors.  The discussion will center around the options and challenges of preparedness of a state-ran exchange and a federal facilitated exchange.

Wisconsinites are on a collision course with fear, lack of leverage for insurance packaging and panic due to the stall by Governor Scott Walker and his administration to implement the "Affordable Health Care Law" mandates and information sharing with the residential, commercial, social and government stakeholders OF EVERY GENERATION (i.e., X, Y, Z) for proper implementation on January 1, 2014.

"We simply can not wait-and-see.  There are deadlines that have been put in place for full implementation with grants made available for implementation.  However, the public is not being made aware of the "pros and cons" due to lack of implementation and/or "delayed implementation" by the Governor of Wisconsin and his administration; i.e., Secretary Administration Mike Huebsch, Health Services Secretary Dennis Smith, Insurance Commissioner Ted Nickel and Workforce Development Secretary Reggie Newsom.  Mum's the word", said Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC.

 September 19, 2012, 9:30am - 4:00pm will kick off MPA LLC 15 month run for information sharing and engagement at the neighborhood level.  Be there.  Make the Pledge.

Each day this week, announcements will be made.
