MILWAUKEE (MPA) - On January 1, 2014 (fifteen months away), according to the health reform law, exchanges for health insurance will begin covering people in every state.

The state of Wisconsin, thanks to Governor Scott Walker, has decided not to participate as a state - and Secretary Dennis Smith and Insurance Commissioner Ted Nickel in 2011 disagreed with the two experts that Wisconsin Department of Health Services contracted to do an Affordable Health Care impact study. It is clear by the comments in the Washington Post by Governor Walker that he is was not willing to move forward for Wisconsinites.
Affordable Health Care Briefings/Discussions
On Wednesday, September 9, 2012, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC will kick off a series of discussion in Milwaukee to provide enlightment and communication on Affordable Health Care. MPA LLC will assemble two panels to address the "preparedness" of Affordable Health Care Act in Wisconsin-Milwaukee and IT/Information Technology in the Hands of Milwaukeeans - customer/patients and service providers.
