Text4Baby Tuesday - Ju;y 26, 2016

July 26, 2016

Dear MARY,

Since 2011, August has been declared National Breastfeeding Month by the United States Breastfeeding Committee. The first week (August 1-7) is also World Breastfeeding Week, and the last (August 25-31) is Black Breastfeeding Week. Create extra awareness this month by promoting National Breastfeeding Month through social media (#NBM16) and by holding your own event! By filling out a World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) Event Pledge Form, you can get your name and event listed on the WBW website.

Text4baby recognizes the importance of breastfeeding and breastfeeding support throughout our messages, with more than 12 texts offering information and tips related to breastfeeding. We also have mobile pages dedicated to the importance of breastfeeding that answer our users' most common questions. In addition to the resources shared above, encourage the moms you work with to explore Text4baby messages, mobile pages, and the free Text4baby app to learn more about how breastfeeding can help get their babies off to the best possible start!

Sincerely,

The Text4baby Team

Quote of the Week
"Text4baby helped me so I knew what questions to ask the doctor when I had appointments while pregnant, and now questions to ask when my baby goes to the doctor.  It has also helped me to learn milestones with my baby and with breastfeeding, car seats, etc...."

- Shannon C. from Kimberly, WI (Cellcom user)
