Kick-off – SATURDAY TALK & AMANI WORKS Think Tank
A citizen review of a library of issues that will investigate, monitor and report pros and cons for raising hopes and aspirations of Milwaukeeans

City Center Milwaukee | Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC will kick off its 2015  calendar of All Hands on Deck, WE CAN Initiative for massive engagement at the neighborhood level with the Introduction of SATURDAY TALK and Amani Works Think Tank. 

SATURDAY TALK primary goal is to create and utilize a guide for professional neighborhood growth through informed decision making by CORE CONSTITUENTS.  It will allow individuals, groups and businesses working on various aspects in their neighborhood to come to the table and share and link for common causes that impact quality of life and economic development.

Saturday, January 31, 2015 will kick-off with its year-long regional partner; SWERPC/Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission with a customized seminar on Vision 2050 - Matching Planning with “solution-building” by the CORE CONSTITUENTS.  Facilitator:  C Terrance Anderson, SEWRPC Planner.

Hot button issues on Transportation will include updates by Jackie Ivy, Milwaukee Transit Riders Union, Milwaukee Streetcar Referendum by Craig Peterson, Zigman Joseph Stephenson, Chris Kliesmet, CRG/Citizens for Responsible Government, and Jacob Gatlin, Fellow – Amani Think Tank,  “Why run for Alderman in 2016?”

Amani Works Think Tank is a 2-year commitment of vetted individuals called “Fellows”.
Fellows are invited Members of the think tank on-behalf-of the People.  They are academic, practicum and inspired individuals-peers that are scholars from the neighborhoods of Milwaukee – specialists from their area of service that want to grow, want their city to grow and will work to serve as leader-STEWARDS for growth of ALL in the pursuit of mutual knowledge and practices.
