SUNDAY EDITION Extra | Sisters of Assisi of St. Francis, Wisconsin, has a proposed construction for the Amani Neighborhood that is located in City Center Milwaukee that has ethical, moral, historic, political and due process issues that have not been dealt with properly and therefore must not proceed in its present format.

"We offer the beautiful $2.2 mansion home above and the video below of Catholic Archbishop Wilton Gregory of Atlanta with the gift by millionaire Joseph Mitchell, the nephew of the author of 'Gone With The Wind,' as what most likely will happen to the proposed site of the Sisters of Assisi St. Ann's proposed site in the Amani Neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin."
"Failure to make "every possible effort to meet with Amanians over a period of time to recapitulate and rectify major missteps due to lack of proper steps to acquire the North Avenue Commerce Center Phase III & IV, 7.5 acres of Amani land for $1; use of child care, senior, education and recreation use of space, mega fundng to African American and People of Color; uses education, Medicare, Medicaid, federal funding and federated funding; engage construction; and, gentrification use of Bucyrus (donor-for-hire BAIT-N-SWITCH) with NO skin-in-the-game are deal breakers".
My office will continue to point-out the issues, draw distinctions, raise neighborhood issues of ownership and stewardship through public discussions while demanding Infrustructure innovative change to the travesties glaring in this deal between Sisters of Assisi, Sister Edna Lorengan, mayor Tom Barrett, ex-alderman and Common Council President Willie Hines, common council members, Department of City Development Commissioner Rocky Marcoux, his staff, appointed City Planning committee, appointed RACM/Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee board, city attorney, city assessor, city comptroller so as to NOT repeat this very costly fiasco", said Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC .
