City Center Milwaukee | Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC invokes AHOD/All Hands on Deck, WE CAN action mindset.

Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC created AHOD/All Hands on Deck, YOU not Me in 2010 after a 5-year (2005-2010) Smart Growth Signature Plan through observation study of 'Why Milwaukeeans continued to remain in poverty when MILLIONS were sent through varied federal funding to change the condition - $$$$MILLIONs?

The name was changed to AHOD/All Hands on Deck, WE CAN in 2011-2012.

The impetus is-was-always pushes the People's ownership, scholarship, entrepreneurship, apprenticeship and stewardship.

The Smart Growth Signature Plan was launched in October, 2005 during a planning meeting held at the Cathedral of St. John Catholic Church, 812 N. Jackson Street, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association.  In 2010, the Smart Growth Action ten-year Signature Plan became AHOD - 2010-2020.

Key Findings
  • Lack of monitoring and accountability by the citizenry of the city of Milwaukee of city officers - Oath to office - local, state and the U.S. Constitution.
  • Elected-appointed-hired government representatives were at the core of wrongdoing.
  • Milwaukee is mired in "by-design" Enduring Concentrated Poverty due to government wrongdoing.
  • A look at the last 50 years from the Kerner Commission to 2010 revealed patterns and a culture of exploitation, discrimination, disenfranchisement and lack of due process of African American, other People of Color and Work Challenged Milwaukeeans.
  • African Americans were most often discriminated against - direct and omission.
  • African Americans, other People of Color and Work Challenged Milwaukeeans share a burden of "bad image" and in need of 're-defining', 're-branding', and 'UN-trapping' vetted businesses and hidden talent.
  • Information technology and education attainment required - access and literacy.
  • Safety prevention and Safety intervention should replace the overrated and stigma-carrying  'crime' stigma.
  • Milwaukeeans ' (live-work-raise family-rent/lease/buy homes,worship, and invest in the city of Milwaukee), their Land and Resources are outsourced; and, the main pathway is in monopoly-oligopoly, donor-for-hire, and power broker takeover of resources - land, tax credits, bond security, aggregated funding, special financial packaging, local, federal and state related funding.
  • Re-defining, Re-branding and UN-trapping of Milwaukeeans, especially African American and other People of Color at the census tract and neighborhood level was optimum deployment.
  • Claiming Land and Resources (assets of all kinds) was Priority One.
  • Preparedness in education attainment and information technology attainment key.
  • Identifying and auditing federal, state, local and federated funding.
  • CDBG/Community Development Block Grant funding has serious conflict of interest and pay-to-play (government will pay you if you obey local rulings that has expanded the pool of funding to polluted gains, one person representing more than one Neighborhood Strategic Planning group - monies given to pet projects selected by elected-appointed-hired government representatives) and therefore COMPROMISE becomes the strength of the original use of the funding.
  • Outside audit with oversight by Milwaukeeans not part of the city government structure needed of self-contained and Ex-Officio groups such as Wisconsin Center District and MEDC/Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation.
  • Accountability of those elected-appointed-hired government employees through following the money trail, reporting to federal senate and house of representative committees, department and groups designated for monitoring; and, most of all correct through civil and criminal courts with no one is exempt.
  • MMAC/Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce, GMA/Greater Milwaukee Committee forged the organizing of M-7/Milwaukee 7 (a 7-county grouping of government style structure to grab corporate welfare at will).
  • Gale Klappa, WE Energies (Milwaukee 7) and Tim Sheehy (Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce) given card blanche/carte blanche to pathways that allowed them "proxy authorization", an unauthorized by the people, privilege in decision making regarding resources, events, tourism, entertainment centers, etc.
  • Sheehy given a position over 10 years that was not authorized by the people.
  • Sheehy given financial czar position to learn the ropes while representing the city of Milwaukee on international junkets with Jim Doyle, ex-governor/Wisconsin and Tom Barrett, mayor of Milwaukee.
  • Gale Klappa, WE Energies (Milwaukee 7) input of $1million dollars put him at the top of the reign with Tom Barrett and a term-style third leader of the city of Milwaukee.
  • GMC Julia Taylor left the YWCA in a quandry on Martin Luther King Drive and made her way to the helm of the Greater Milwaukee Committee where she has added to the "take-over" and pilfering of the assets of the half-million population of Milwaukeeans.
    • The majority population, 3/4 of the population of Milwaukee is made-up of People of Color.
  • The major reason for formation of the Milwaukee 7 and the reason to create a "Greater Milwaukee" image vs "Milwaukee image" was the fact that Milwaukee was progressively becoming majority People of Color and by coming together in a "southeastern wisconsin" format, there would be a majority population of Caucasian.  
    • The Caucasian elitist group did not include the population and strategic planning with People of Color.
    • Non-stop of use of Milwaukee's land and resources have been unending, including recent EB-5 designation by MMAC.  EB-5 is a designation given by the federal government for investment in areas that have "Targeted Employment Area" - high unemployment or rural area, creating or preserving at least 10 jobs for U.S. workers excluding the investor and their immediate family.  Guess what population MMAC is representing - rural or URBAN?  
  • City of Milwaukee Department of City Development manipulated with the assistance of ex-alderman Fred Gordon, ex-alderman Willie Hines, ex-alderman and mayor Marvin Pratt, alderman Willie Wade and the common council the authenticity of the Smart Growth and Fond du Lac Comprehensive Plan.
