Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC Calls for 4-MONTH Moratorium, Oath of Officers & Stewardship

City Center Milwaukee | Today, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC calls for a 4-month Moratorium (April 7, 2014 thru August 7, 2014) for:

  1. Election and Installation of NEW District 15 Alderman.
  2. NEW Alderman brought up-to-date on real estate of the 15th District.
  3. NEW Alderman brought up-to-date on fiasco of 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center.
  4. 4-month city of Milwaukee internal investigation of the 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center.
  5. Hold on any new real estate development and proposed development during this time.
  6. MPA LLC Consumer Protection Group Citizens Review Report.

15 DISTRICT ALDERMAN SEAT VACANT
At this time, the 15th District has two men running for alderman of the 15th District.  On April 29, 2014, the next alderperson will be selected by the People.  He will need time to be briefed on past decisions regarding the 4-Month Moratorium.

The 4-month REQUEST for a Moratorium will allow the NEW alderman time to prepare for address and leadership regarding the interest of the people, fiasco of the 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center, use of land, economic development and infrastructure in the 15th District.

4-Month Investigation - 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center
An inside/internal investigation of the city's handling of all city development documentations for the 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center from 1990 - 2014, that includes but not limited to:

  • Boldt and Irgens Development.
  • Contractors - prime, subcontractor, etc.
  • Phase I & II renters and purchasers.
  • Uses of the TID 21 and TID 15.
  • Uses of land.
  • outside hired and all other engaged participants.
  • all funds and packaging of resources for the development of the 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center.
  • Amanian and contiguous neighborhood taxpayers and stakeholder involvement step-by-step.
  • loss of property and payment to Amanians and contiguous neighborhood citizenry through Eminent Domain and other means.
  • Wisconsin, local and federal statute involvement.
  • Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources involvement and cost with all 4-Phases.
  • What other brownfield efforts were brought-bought to bear and paid for with government funding for the 4-Phase project?
  • What notification was given by the city of Milwaukee to Amanians and nearby stakeholders of brownfield concerns?
  • What notification was given by the city of Milwaukee to any one regarding the brownfied contamination of the 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center?
  • step-by-step process of each part of engagement of elected-appointed-hired representatives of the city of Milwaukee - NO one is exempt.   
  • Listing of voting 1990-2014 by elected-appointed and hired representatives regarding the 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center.
  • Sisters of Assisi St. Ann Intergenerational Center 7.5 acre project (step-by-step engagement with the city and promises with documentations).      
The 4-month internal investigation should look at and report on all the facets alleged by Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC regarding the city of Milwaukee elected-appointed-hired representatives in the mishandling, lack of due process and disenfranchisement of the People's land and funds in the 19-year plus economic development of the 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center.  

Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC sees this as the opportunity the City of Milwaukee can assure Amanians, contiguous neighbors and other Milwaukeeans of NO WRONG DOING.

The internal report is to look at the pattern and culture that spans two mayors (John Norquist and Tom Barrett); 2 aldermen [Fred Gordan (12) and Willie Hines (17]; three DCD Commissioners (Michael Morgan, Julie Penman and Rocky Marcoux) and staff, city attorney Grant Langley, two assessors (Julie Penman and Mary Reavy), two comptrollers (Wally Moric and Martin Matson), old/new City Planning Committee and old/new RACM Board members.

During the 4-Months, April 7, thru August 7, 2014, a "Citizens Review Report" - MPA LLC Consumer Protection Group will be conducted and released in August, 2014 by Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC.

Moratorium Request
Mayor Tom Barrett, Common Council President Michael Murphy, the remaining 13-member Common Council, Department of City Development Commissioner Rocky Marcoux, his staff, appointed members of the City Planning Committee, appointed members of the RACM/Redevelopment Authority City of Milwaukee Board, City Attorney, City Assessor, City Comptroller, Boldt-Irgens Development corporations and Sisters of Assisi are under fire by Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC, Consumer Protection Group, for wrongdoing in the acquisition, packaging, financing, vetting and cover-up of the development of the 4-Phase North Avenue Commerce Center.

In a 4-part Exposé below, information was shared regarding 19 years of a pattern/culture of wrongdoing that has disenfranchised African Americans, other People of Color and the Work Challenged.

The Email MORATORIUM REQUEST is sent to Mayor Tom Barrett, his chief of staff, Common Council President Michael Murphy and each city of Milwaukee Alderperson .  A formal response is asked of Mayor Tom Barrett and Common Council Presidernt Michael Murphy.


The Citizens Review Report by MPA LLC Consumer Group begins today, April 7, 2014.
