7 Neighborhoods Targeted for Affordable Health Care
Preparedness
Today, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC announced SEVEN
(7) Neighborhoods targeted for first level of Preparedness engagement for the
Affordable Health Care implementation scheduled for October 1, 2013 and January
1, 2014. It is part of the 2013-2016 one
hundred ninety (190) neighborhoods in MPA LLC Smart Growth Plan for the All
Hands on Deck, WE CAN Initiative to ensure that re-defining,
re-branding and un-trapping of hidden talent and vetted business is part of
the opportunities of the Affordable Health Care law.
The Affordable Health Care Overview will have a residential and commercial component.
URBAN Population Health Care model
reflects behavioral and industry reform.
“We
are our personal, family, business and neighborhood keepers, let’s act like
it", said Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC.
ALL HANDS on DECK, WE CAN
Health Care
practitioners, providers, medical examiner, neighborhood correctional sites, payers
and suppliers create partnerships with business stakeholders at the census
tract level of the neighborhood for education, employment, better health care
monitoring, better communication between patient and health care practitioners
using Essential Health Care records, massive marketing and advertisement (strategic
census tract and neighborhood level) personal health care coaching,
alternatives for health care services, neighborhood business co-ops and a heavy
emphasis on Small Business insured with technical and information technology
blueprint for employees. We are looking
at models that will drive URBAN Health UP and URBAN Health Care cost DOWN. We are focusing on Milwaukee – its People,
