Putting SKIN in the GAME

Today, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC advanced its commitment with the tool of "Rhetoric Skin-in-the-Game".  It is making the VALUE argument with friend, significant other, associates, and strangers to bolster Preparedness in the implementation of the Affordable Health Care act for NEW, not-so-new and seasoned beneficiaries in Milwaukee.  It is taking the time to learn more about what is in the health care insurance market and why it would be best for you or  those you represent for coverage.  It is creating "chats" online, Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter moments.  It is reading advertisements and making comparisons.  To make comparisons, the consumer must be knowledgeable - to be knowledgeable they must receive information - facts for exploring.

Small business employers, employees, heads of household, young adults and seniors are expected to select an insurance plan with at least 10 Health Essential Benefits from the Medicare Advantage Exchange, per their state selection exchange plan (state-assisted, partner-assisted or federally-assisted).  

 

Since purchasing plans can be both expensive and lack "value", MPA LLC is committed to 'valuing" Education and Technology Attainment to ensure that the narrative is the same whether you are  purchasing as an employer of a small business, an individual, a college student, a single parent, a senior living at home-in assisted living-living with an offspring or a disabled consumer receiving dual eligible benefits and want to be sure the market is providing you engagement.

Wisconsin Exchange

Governor Scott Walker refused to participate in the pre-preparation for the PPACA.  The Patient and Protection Health Care Act has a default for states that do not select either a state-assisted or partner-assisted plan.   It is a federally-assisted plan.  Given the refusal by Governor Walker, Wisconsin is a Federally-Assisted Exchange and the implementation for October 1, 2013 and January 1, 2014 will come from the United States Health and Human Services Department headed by Kathleen Serebelius.  Director David Cohen is the head of the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO).  The department is charged with helping implement many provisions of the Affordable Care Act, the historic health reform bill that was signed into law March 23, 2010. CCIIO oversees the implementation of the provisions related to private health insurance.

MPA LLC Signature Initiative is All Hands on Deck, WE CAN.  It is re-defining, re-branding and un-trapping hidden talent and vetted businesses at the neighborhood and census tract level. The health care Exchanges provide the holistic plan called Medicare Advantage Plan.  The national Medicare Advantage health care plan demands that you have Skin in the Game - it starts with creating value through discourse - Rhetoric.
