MILWAUKEE COUNTY (MPA-PPR), according to the Milwaukee Journal newspaper, the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors have met with and most likely will continue to meet with AFSCME Union leaders.
According to Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professionals Association, "Whereas I think the unions would be wise to take this opportunity and clean up some glaring misgivings on their part; the fact that Milwaukee County Board has shown it has a backbone for moral leadership, best practices and accountability in this matter, it should be appauled on the merit".
"Their meeting is causing some dust to rise - SO WHAT. This is a right that was stolen through arbitrary and capricious means. It has taken several laps around the track and the stakeholders, majority of them, feel like they have been had by some of their own members and others who represent the decision Governor Scott Walker pursued and won. He and supporters rammed down the throats of the collective bargain citizenry. It is not over.
