Milwaukee Budget Hearing this Saturday
Dear Neighbor,
I am chairing a public hearing this Saturday, April 20, to provide Milwaukee residents an opportunity to voice their opinions on the state budget. Other members of the Joint Finance Committee and area lawmakers will be there to listen as well. The public meeting starts at 11:00 a.m. and will be held at the MPS Administration Building, 5225 W Vliet St.
The co-chairs of the Joint Finance Committee scheduled only four public hearings in the entire state on the budget—and Milwaukee was not one of them. This budget will have long lasting effects on Milwaukee, so please come and make your voice heard. We want to hear what you have to say.
