MILWAUKEE - The mayor has just returned from a China junket exclaiming successes - CERNET agreement for Chinese students training and Harley Davidson.

His entourage failed to include African American and other People of Color.

Given his less than expected presentation at Community Brainstorming on November 26, 2011, Mary Glass, Chair/CEO, Milwaukee Professional Association has questions for his transparency and accountability.

They are:

-- Entourage - Who attended the China junket with you?

-- What was the criteria for selection/invitation of individuals to attend this junket with you?

-- Who paid for your accommodations?

-- Who paid for each member that went with you?

-- How much did the trip cost?

-- What African American, other Person of Color business/business organization was/were invited?

-- What was the purpose of your trip?

-- How will Harley Davidson development in China specifically impact jobs/employment for African American, other People of Color and the Work-Challenged in the City of Milwaukee?

Glass also asked about his endorsement of Chancellor Michael Lovell's preliminary agreement with CERNET, ". . . is suspect, "discriminatory" and a specific example of "exploitation", especially since Chancellor Lovell and you went 6506 miles to China but have failed to go 2.1 miles to Martin L. King Drive, said Glass. "Your zeal or GREED for acquisition of "Chinese funds" has distorted principle-centered leadership, channel development, strategic planning and sustainability."

Let's see if he responds.
