Comptroller Aycha Sawa
APRIL 7, 2021
MILWAUKEE, WI || On April 7, 2021, MPA-LLC Requests a BALANCE SHEET to show the taxpayers of the city of Milwaukee (96.8 square miles) what the financials look like.
The BALANCE SHEET should give insight on the travelers/visitors to our coffers and how the Comptroller is watching the taxpayers' back. By the way, "watching the back of the citizenry" was one of the reasons Candidate Sawa ran for office a year ago.
A regular report from the Office of the Comptroller will educate and inform the taxpayers to who/what/when/where/how their coffers expand and contract; and, what are the exponential categories. Specific attention is expected to show growth, investment, and employment at the neighborhood level.
MILWAUKEE - 96.8 SQ. MILES
The city of Milwaukee is an Enduring Concentrated Poverty city that receives major federal funding to achieve quality of life and economic development, however, the census tract neighborhoods are left without employment, affordable housing, safety prevention, safety intervention, broadband/Internet of Things, health care, water safety (lead in water, lead in soil, freshwater), education attainment, gainful employment, commercial development, and TIF-Tax Incremental Finance for job development at the census tract level, non-profit and foundations investment in city for starters.
We also seek BIG projects in transportation (the Hop and East/West BRT, Intermodal site-St. Paul, purchasing of transportation infrastructure), Couture, Moderne, Bucks/Fiserve city support, MEDC/Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation, WI Center District, and EB-5 Visa.
Cabinet Approach
The Biden/Harris Administration has committed to the citizenry across America to look at and change the INFRASTRUCTURE.
We are pleased to hear how specific President Joseph Biden spoke on his" focus of bringing impoverished areas up-to-standards.
Therefore, we are focused on public policies, oversight, monitoring, training, facts-to-date, and major interruptions steeped in double standards, cronyism, discrimination, monopoly-oligopoly behavior of powerful Caucasian corporations, and questionable decisions of charter officers.
These five (5) members we will work with for accountability are:
- Pete Buttigieg - Transportation
- Jennifer Granholm - Energy
- Marcia Fudge - HUD
- Marty Walsh - Labor
- Gina Raimondo - Commerce.
We are also looking at SEWRPC/SOUTHWESTERN REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION CEDS FOCUS ON FUNDING.
