Troy Anthony Davis declined to make a recorded statement this afternoon as the clock ticked down toward his execution tonight, a prison official said.
Corrections officers along with Butts County Sheriff deputies stand post at the front gates of the Georgia Diagnostic Prison Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011 where Troy Davis is scheduled to be executed.
Georgia Department of Corrections Troy Davis, 42, was sentenced to death for the 1989murder of off-duty Savannah Police Officer Mark Allen MacPhail.
