CITY-WIDE MILWAUKEE || 14th District Alderman Anthony "Tony" Zielinski has thrown his hat into the ring for the 45th mayor of the city of Milwaukee.

Taking an assessment of what Alderman Anthony "Tony" Zielinski provided for his coming out statement was a sense of commitment to Running a Campaign for to Win.  He came out with the pursuit of "Mayor only" rather than his aldermanic seat and mayor.  He also gave his campaign a real shot in the arm of a $100,000 loan.  According to his financial amount in his campaign finance report, he has $50,000 in his campaign coffers, that makes a minimum of $150,000 startup.

He gave some Talking Points for his candidacy, however, he will need to look at his behavior as Chair of the Licensing Committee and voting practices at hearings and standing committee meetings.

The place he chose to make his announcement - Milwaukee Police Association - has a historic black mark that has not improved over the years for African American and People of Color - the MAJORITY of the Electorates in Milwaukee.

Flashback of brutality, mistreatment, discrimination, disrespect, US DOJ study, and murders of African American and People of Color has yet a bad taste.  His pledge to a 21st Century police chief is too generic and does not speak to the NEEDS  of Milwaukeeans.  Then there is the lack of seriousness of quality of life and economic development to replace the mired condition of  Enduring Concentrated Poverty.  There was NO mention of Broadband Internet, Incarceration Reform and public transportation for the working unemployed and working underemployed.   Over the two years, he has much to do to WIN.
