April is Alcohol Awareness Month,
a time to raise awareness of the health and safety risks associated with alcohol use, especially the risk of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs) that can be caused by the consumption of alcohol during pregnancy.
Text4baby shares
key messages about FASDs and alcohol consumption during pregnancy. There is no known amount of alcohol that is safe to drink while pregnant, and it can cause a baby to have behavior and learning problems, speech delays and more.
Thanks for raising awareness of risks of prenatal alcohol use during Alcohol Awareness Month and throughout the year.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Murphy, Partner Outreach Director, Text4baby
