Milwaukee Professionals Association Open for Business - March 1, 2014

City Center Milwaukee | Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC Signature Initiative - AHOD/All Hands on Deck, WE CAN starts with the seven (7) Kwanzaa Principles and RESPECT-4-RESPECT doctrines of the public square for Re-defining, Re-branding and UN-trapping hidden talent and vetted businesses at the census tract and neighborhood level for eradicating "by-design" Enduring Concentrated Poverty in urban cities, especially Milwaukee.
MPA LLC AHOD/All Hands on Deck, WE CAN Initiative
AHOD is an "action" initiative that seeks informed engagement for "Skin-the-Game" that is solidified and codified by the People, the public square, especially People of Color.  BUY-IN.

We remember the Kwanzaa themes (Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work and Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, Faith) and NEWLY added RESPECT-4-RESPECT doctrine throughout each month for building and substantiating the necessary infusion of capital investment by first the People and then their resources for the betterment of the census tracts and neighborhoods.   No one is exempt.

We seek LIKE-MINDS in forging the agenda of infrastructure change.

This month we will focus on:
  • Kujichagulia/Self-Determination - To define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves and speak for ourselves;
  • Ujima/Collective Work and Responsibility - To build and maintain our community together and make our brother's and sister's problems our problems and to solve them together; and,
  • Ujamaa/Cooperative Economics - To build and maintain our own stores, shops and other businesses and to profit from them together.
Our 2014 special and year-long programs/projects include:

DEMO 10 NEIGHBORHOODS - City Center
Amani, Grandview/Walnut, Halyard Park, Harambee, Hillside, Metcalfe, Midtown, Riverwest, Sherman Park & WAICO/Y
MPA LLC 100 Census Tract & Neighborhood Businesses

Tag - City Center 10
City Center is the trendy name MPA LLC has chosen to identify the urban city of Milwaukee. The 10-Neighborhoods are the hot zones for MPA LLC 2014 model for urban health care at the census tract and neighborhood level.

City Center 10-Neighborhoods is the tag for MPA LLC 10-Neighborhood DEMO.  The 10 neighborhoods (Amani, Grandview/Walnut, Halyard Park, Harambee, Hillside, Metcalfe, Midtown, Riverwest, Sherman Park and WAICO/Y) have a population in excess of 66,000.   The areas are not complete with each neighborhood.  It is an extrapolation based on the boundaries of:
  • North  - LOCUST
  • South - VILET
  • East   - HUMBOLDT
  • West  - 60th STREET
The densely populated belt within Milwaukee has a rich and urban culture that reflects Milwaukee population as well as its People of Color untold history.  It is the neighborhood belt that MPA LLC has chosen to lead the charge in "unearthing", by-design, Enduring Concentrated Poverty.

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH VETTED BUSINESSES

DIAMOND In the Rough vetted businesses are those census tract and neighborhood businesses that have been "vetted" by the People with the "test-of-time" endorsement customer support.

Today's focus for MPA LLC is ease-of-access to laws and programs available to them.
It is exposure to and access of information technology, co-location networking and the economic marketplace for scale.   Recent programs like Our Brother's Keeper, voc ed training and employment, transportation engagement at the census tract and neighborhood level with Milwaukeeans and technology investment.

DIAMOND in the Rough vetted businesses are a No. 1 employer of stakeholders of the neighborhood.  They lack capital investment, connectivity to marketplace tools on an ongoing basis, linked and supported by the city government coffers, national funders with engagement for census tract and neighborhood level, and CDFI annual funds geared to empower economic and quality of life growth in the city of Milwaukee.

They also lack RESPECT of ENGAGEMENT by those elected-appointed-hired-volunteered-donor-for-hire represented.  Therefore, DISTRUST is rapport.
