Cheray the entertainer
Cheray is a singer and stage performer. In Milwaukee, she performed as a solo singer at events and performed with the Hansberry-Sands Theatre Group.
Cheray's music has a Jazz, Gospel, Raggae and Country blend. The blend of all the genres are evident in her renditions. She has a strong twang like Ms. Tina Turner at times with a tinge of country and jazz. She has five inspirational tunes that you can hear her voice and two instrumentals of the seven songs on her CD - REDEMPTION II. Her seasoned producer, Gene Higgins HMG Nashville, Michael Lusk (background singer for Loretta Lynn, Tanya Tucker), Netha Schrimpf (background); Musicians Tim Atwood, Steve Hinson, Wayne Killus, Dick McVey and Mike Baker make a great blend.
Cheray has been singing since she was a young girl when she traveled with her parents, Elder Andrew and Mrs. Annie Love Ministry across the country. She is now living, writing and working on her music with her husband in Tennessee.
She has been a public figure in entertainment, volunteerism and community leadership most of her life. Her many efforts of participation range from one-on-one to large audiences for entertainment – singing and acting.
