SARATOGA SPRINGS — Clarence Dart, a Wesley Health Care Center resident, doesn’t usually go out to the movies.

Dart, his wife, Millie, and their family members can’t wait to see the new release “Red Tails,” which is about the famed Tuskegee Airmen — segregated African-American fighter pilots — that Dart belonged to during World War II.

“It’s important to have a movie like this,” said Dart’s son, Warren, a Maple Avenue Middle School teacher. “I wouldn’t know this history if my father wasn’t a Tuskegee Airman. They didn’t teach it when I was in school. It wasn’t talked about.”

Thanks to the shout-out of support for viewing by Steve Mussenden - President, WI Black Chamber of Commerce, we offer the above article and support our visit to see this movie by Lucas. It is so important to note that Lucas has had this movie in mind for over a decade and funding was a barrier - He finally put the money up himself. Let's take it over the top by visiting and learning. Thanks a bunch!
