Sparkle Ashley was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. Mrs. Ashley is the founder of SWAP (Social Workers As Politicians), a non-profit organization created to bridge the gap between social work and politics. Mrs. Ashley is an advocate for the fight to end homelessness in Milwaukee County.
Ms. Ashley was recently endorsed by Cavalier Johnson, Alderman District 2, City of Milwaukee.
She is seeking to replace incumbent Deanna Alexander, Milwaukee County Supervisor, 18th District.
