George vs Moore for 4th District U. S. Congressperson position - Should be interesting

L-R:  ex-State Senator Gary George, U.S. Congresswoman Gwen Moore

Wisconsin | ex-state Senator Gary George is challenging U.S. Congresswoman Gwen Moore for the position  of U.S. Congressperson - District 4 in Wisconsin.  They served together at the state level before U. S. Congresswoman Moore left the State Senator position (4th District).  She won the U.S. Congressional seat in 2005.  They are both members of the Democratic party.

Since that time, ex-Senator George served four years in prison for charges he was found guilty of as a state senator.  Senator George served for more than two decades in the Wisconsin Legislature, and was the most powerful African-American legislator in state history as chairman of the budget-writing Joint Finance Committee.  He was forced from office and sent to prison.

Candidate George has since returned to Wisconsin and has regained his law license and was able to gain permission to run through the Government of Accountability in Madison.

Stay tuned.
