Wisconsin 6th Senate District Candidate Delta Triplett is sensitive to the needs of his district.
One of those things is the high unemployment rate. Mario Dickens, a local minority business owner addresses his challenges as small urban businesses have a difficult time gaining creative financing to expand, and the need to get people trained, so he can hire them to expand his business. Mario also faces challenges to employ people locally from within Milwaukee’s communities; Instead, he is forced to find skilled talent from outside of the county, and as far as New York. Thus the need for Delta’s solution for these businesses to partner with Milwaukee Public Schools to train and educate a diverse, talented workforce in which companies’ like Mario’s can draw from. This will also increase the quality in education Milwaukee Public Schools delivers to our children.
