MILWAUKEE | ROTARY CLUB - SPEAKERS' FORUM
Reggie Moore's presentation is worth listening to, notetaking, and discussion groups. An excellent tone of voice for delivering and retention in the audience.
He brings a message of a "campaign of knowledge" to identify safety intervention to prevention - then wellness forward for an individual, family, school, and neighborhood.
I look for ideas and action plans to flow for full use of his knowledge base.
A reference for START of the terrain the People of the city must know about, care about and commit to for accountable steps to monitor themselves.
BIDs, TIDs, and NSPs should be ambassadors and implementors for the message and reporters with offices like Moore and the Office of Violence Prevention at the Health Department.
Kirsten Johnson, the Health Department, and Ashanti Hamilton have much to do in training and defining themselves and their staff under the talking points given by Moore, their experiences, and outreach to other-like environments. It should help them select the STARTING POINT for the city together.
It should define lines of comparison and pathways for the city, county, and state.

NOTE
I know that funding is important, however, know what the funds will be for in a priority format - present and going forward.
Hire folks from the neighborhood.
Competition is necessary for the overall campaign, not the county/city against each other.
DO NOT FORGET TO SHARE.
