TOM BARRETT and Luxembourg England surprise - Remember Doyle, Hines, and Abele

 AUGUST 26, 2021

CITY OF MILWAUKEE || TOM BARRETT'S shock of a rural and expensive Luxembourg Europe Ambassadorship.  Tom Barrett goes to Luxembourg sooner than we think.

LISTEN UP.

WELL. WELL.  OLE TOM HAS HIT ONE OF THE "POLITICAL GET OUT OF JAIL CARDS-BUMPS" THAT CALLS FOR DNC/Democratic National Committee  PARTY AND WHITE HOUSE MARKER REPAIR.

REMEMBER JIM DOYLE, WILLIE HINES, CHRIS ABELE TO NAME 3 SUDDEN SHOCKS.  This seems to be much larger.

NOTICE HOW SWIFT.

NOTICE THE QUESTIONS YOU HAVE.

GET READY FOR THE "BIG BEEF" WITH CAVALIER JOHNSON, Alderman District 2.

REMEMBER MARVIN PRATT?

REMEMBER THE MONOPOLY-OLIGOPOLY-CAUCASIAN RUMBLE - GMC, MILWAUKEE 7 & MMAC?

THEY ARE REALLY HIDING TOM

Luxembourg is a small European country, surrounded by Belgium, France, and Germany. It’s mostly rural, with dense Ardennes forest and nature parks in the north, rocky gorges of the Mullerthal region in the east, and the Moselle river valley in the southeast. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is famed for its fortified medieval old town perched on sheer cliffs.

Unemployment in Luxembourg is the lowest in all of Europe and has been for 40 yearsTom will be at a loss since he has helped impose Enduring Concentrated Poverty in Milwaukee.  He once told an official luncheon for the Federal Reserve, he did not know why Milwaukee had ECP.

As the richest country in the world by GDP per capita — around $105,000 each, you might expect Luxembourg to be a wildly expensive place, but it really isn't. Sure, it's not cheap, but as a tourist, it's no worse than places like New York, London or Paris. May 10, 2018

The African American population in Luxembourg is 10,013 people.

=======================

BELOW are comments by selected individuals in the public square of the Milwaukee area shared by Mary Spicuzza - Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Bob Bauman, Alderman 4th District and partner with Tom Barrett in many of Barrett's high-powered, discriminatory, monopoly-oligopoly, and controversial projects, i.e., The Hop, speaks more to the point of reality of Barrett's surprise - while all others gave the usual THIS-N-THAT compliments.

BOB BAUMAN - Alderman, Dist 4

"I think there could be a period of uncertainty, confusion, and perhaps a little chaos moving forward. Needless to say there's a lot of issues pending. There's some very challenging budgets coming down the road. There's the Rescue Fund monies, and how we deploy those funds.

"There has been a significant increase in crime and disorder in the city, and no one really seems to have a good answer to addressing that. There's increasing concerns among our citizens that downtown has seen a significant spike in criminal activity. There's a lot of concern. A lot of people talking about rethinking their decisions to move downtown."

CAVALIER JOHNSON - Alderman, Dist 2

Common Council President (Positioned -Interim Mayor)

"In nominating Tom Barrett to serve as a U.S. Ambassador, President Biden has chosen a proven leader with great experience to represent our nation’s interests and lead the U.S. embassy located in Luxembourg City.

"Tom has a long track record of success, stretching from his time as a state legislator, to his honorable service in Congress, to leading our city as one of the longest-serving mayors in America. His wealth of experience will serve our nation well as he works to deepen our relationship with one of America’s allies.

"On behalf of the Milwaukee Common Council, I congratulate the Mayor on his appointment.

"We will continue to work closely with the Mayor during this time of transition. Until he decides to step down he will remain in that position, and the business at City Hall will continue."

DAVID CROWLEY - Milwaukee County Executive

"Congratulations to Mayor Tom Barrett on his nomination to become the next U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg. Mayor Barrett and his administration have been key partners over the last year as we navigated the COVID-19 pandemic and worked to keep residents safe.

"The Mayor is a proven leader who will bring the same level of passion and commitment to representing the United States abroad as he did for years as one of the nation’s longest-serving big-city mayors.

"On behalf of Milwaukee County, I thank Mayor Barrett for his many years of leadership and wish him the best during this time of transition."

TIM SHEEHY - President, MMAC

"We congratulate Mayor Barrett on his upcoming ambassadorial appointment, and thank him for all he’s done on behalf of Milwaukee. Mayor Barrett has been a consistent champion for economic development here, and we wish him all the best in his new role."

"We look forward to continuing our work to improve metro Milwaukee as a place to invest capital, grow business and create jobs with the respected leader of the Common Council, Cavalier Johnson, in his new role as Acting Mayor."

Jim Paetsch, Executive Director - Milwaukee 7

"We congratulate Mayor Barrett, who was a valued founding partner of the Milwaukee 7. Mayor Barrett was an early champion of regionalism, and he recognized that what was good for the region was good for Milwaukee. He put economic development among his highest priorities and on his watch, Milwaukee drew in a significant amount of investment and job creation."

"We wish Mayor Barrett all the best in his next chapter and look forward to working with Acting Mayor Johnson, who shares our commitment to economic development."

Attorney Michael Maistelman,  Democratic politics

"We expected him not to run for reelection," Maistelman said. "This will be the crowning jewel in his career to end with an ambassadorship. I think this is an amazing opportunity for Mayor Barrett."

He added, "This is the next step in his career. It could be the last step."

August 24th - City of Milwaukee Hospitalized for Public Policies of the American Rescue Plan

August 24, 2021
TODAY IS THE OFFICIAL DAY WE "HOSPITALIZE" THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE FOR 2 YEARS OF American Rescue Plan INFRASTRUCTURE REFRAMING.

Preliminary status-quo public policies and dogmatic steps we have seen taken by the mayor and 15-member common council merits a D-, F & Incomplete grades given the circumstances and wealth of funding provided by the Biden/Harris Administration.

ALL CAPS VERSION

CONGRATULATIONS TO GIANNIS SINA OUGKO ANTETOKUNMPO.

NOW THAT HE HAS WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP WITH THE FAMOUS 50/50 DEMARCATION - 50 GIANNIS POINTS AND 50 YEARS SINCE A CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE BUCKS - HE IS CREATING A PHENOMENAL YARDAGE WITH “EYE-OPENING” FEATURES AND DECISION-MAKING AS A PROFOUND LEADER WITH AN INTERNATIONAL BACKGROUND AND A FAMILY MANTRA THAT HAS SERVED HIM WELL AS A GEN Y/MILLENIAL.

HIS FAMILY'S CLOSENESS WAS THE DOGMA THAT HELD THEM TOGETHER DURING THE DAYS OF HIS PARENTS UNEMPLOYMENT IN GREECE.  HE AND HIS BROTHERS KNOW ABOUT BEING HUNGRY AND WORKING ON THE STREETS WITH PARENTS TO SELL MERCHANDISE FOR SURVIVAL.

HIS THINKING IS TO BE ADMIRED.

===============================

AS A MILWAUKEEAN, THAT IS AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN MAN, 26 YEARS OLD, HE REPRESENTS THE "NEW ZONE" OF CITIZENSHIP THAT IS OF COLOR AND INTERNATIONAL WHILE LOCAL.

AS A MILWAUKEEAN, THAT IS INTERNATIONAL, WITH ETHNICITY OF AFRICA AND MOTHER/FATHER IMMIGRATED IMPOVERISHED FROM NIGERIA, AFRICA TO GREECE, HE BRINGS A NEW PARADIGM AND WELCOMED PERSPECTIVE FOR LEADERSHIP OF THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN YOUNG MALE - 26 YEARS OLD GEN Y.

COMMITMENT TO MILWAUKEE

GIANNIS SPEAKS OF MILWAUKEE BEING THE PLACE FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY – THE PLACE TO RAISE HIS FAMILY.

HIS SIMULTANEOUS ACTIONS SPEAK OF GROWTH AND INVESTMENT - LAST YEAR EXPRESSING AN INTEREST IN THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS TEAM AND THIS YEAR PURCHASING STOCK AND BECOMING THE 1ST AFRICAN AMERICAN STOCK OWNER OF THE BREWERS TEAM.

HE COMES "GAME ON FOR A NEW ECONOMY"

 COMMITMENT PUBLIC SQUARE

JUST AS HE HAD TO RETURN TO GREECE FOR A SHORT MILITARY COMMITMENT, MPA-LLC CALLS ON HIM FOR LEADING THE WAY FOR THE "RESPECT" OF THE CITIZENRY THAT HAS UNDERWRITTEN THE FRAMEWORK/INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE BUCKS FOR 30 YEARS IN ORDER FOR MILWAUKEE TO HAVE A NBA TEAM.

MILWAUKEEANS IN THE 98.6 SQUARE MILES PROVIDED AND CONTINUE TO PROVIDE A PLACE FOR THE NBA TEAM, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THE OWNERS OF THE BUCKS/FISERV LOCATION.

WE HAVE SEEN HOW THE ANTETOKOUNMPO FAMILY MORALS, VALUES, AND TENACITY HAVE SUSTAINED THEM FROM AFRICA TO GREECE - GREECE TO AMERICA - MILWAUKEE.

GIANNIS COMES FROM A NEIGHBORHOOD CALLED SOPOLIA, ATHENS, GREECE.  WE ASK THAT HE MAKE A NAME FOR HIMSELF IN ASSISTING GEN Y & Z MILLENNIALS WITH "EQUITY INCLUSION" IN MILWAUKEE  AT THE CENSUS TRACT NEIGHBORHOOD.

"ANTETOKOUNMPO CAN FORGE A WIDE FINGERPRINT TO BE THE “GEN Y LIGHTBULB” FOR BROADBAND/WIFI/HOTSPOTS FOR ACCESS OF THE MILLIONS AROUND COVID 19/DELTA VARIANT VACCINATIONS AND DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY IN MILWAUKEE," said Mary Glass, Chief Visionary Officer, MPA-LLC.

Good Standing Status - What are you doing that meets your reason for being?

FRIDAY, AUGUST 20, 2021

The Equal Rights Commission for our city is like all the appointed citizenry-selected groups are to provide clear and precise guidance per their area.  This is EQUAL RIGHTS.

We expect monthly reports from the Equal Rights Committee to show how public policy and public relations are contributing to the growth of our city and its effectiveness.

We notice that this body collaborates and depend on the "Department of Employee Relations" and "City Attorney's Office" for efficacy.  Our notes show, change of leadership in the Employee Relations Department since the election of the NEW city attorney.  There has been conflicts of interest and delays to the city attorney's office that affects personnel, morale, due diligence, and peaceful transmission of both offices.

This has interrupted our legal process as a CITY, especially since we had costly high-profile suits in the hopper.  We, the People - Milwaukeeans, will need this committee to assure us that this is abated and corrections are made per the Equal Rights Committee authority.

PURPOSE: To investigate complaints and eliminate or remedy any violation of fair housing, employment or public accommodations laws through conciliation, persuasion, education or litigation. Investigators and examiners from the Department of Employee Relations will assist the Commission while enforcement will be done through the City Attorney's Office. The Commission also oversees the City of Milwaukee's Paid Sick Leave Ordinance.

COMPOSITION: Eleven members representing a cross-section of the community, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Common Council to serve three-year terms, staggered.

YESTERDAY, I was introduced to Milwaukee County American Rescue Plan Task Force - I met a Rising Star

======================================
This is an UPDATED VERSION WITH LINKS FOR REVIEW - Agenda, Video, and Meeting Details.
==============================

MILW COUNTY AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN

 August 13, 2021

MILWAUKEE COUNTY || On August 12, 2021, Milwaukee County assembled six (6) appointees to the American Rescue Plan Task Force.

Agenda

Video

Meeting Details

Milwaukee County Board file 21-555: “A resolution to create a Task Force to review and recommend funding allocations to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors for monies received by the County in the Federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021”

The 3 hours and 47 minutes was the time of the first meeting - a virtual meeting and introduced 6 personalities willing to tackle a number of needs that could impact the "gaps" of debt short and long-term.

They came with backgrounds that could bring substance to the people of Milwaukee County using the guidelines (allowable use) from the U.S. Treasury for spending the $184M.

It was clear that "business as usual" and "cut to the chase" dollar-spending was present in the first meeting.

There was a lack of inclusion and the community evaluation and therefore would NOT meet the guidelines of the American Rescue Plan or the Board of Supervisors demands.

Ineligible uses include deposits to a pension fund, funding debt service, legal settlements or judgments, deposits to rainy day funds or financial reserves.

Other guidelines for spending by U. S. Treasury.

Points of Discussion were:

  • Aggressive decision-making - showing that some vote/action had been completed in the first meeting.
  • Automatic adding of housing.
  • No prerequisite of guidelines for spending. i.e. models.
  • Community evaluation for approval.
  • Working together as a whole - all 6.
  • The discussion revealed "eyeopeners", "preconditions" brought to the table, "precautions prior to voting", and the newness of purpose by a rising star of equity, goodwill, strategic change, setting the anchoring process for RESTRUCTURING a framework for creating democracy when spending the ARF Act funding.
  • Scott Manske, Milwaukee County Comptroller recognizing and providing documentation for both Ashley Adjit and Ricardo Diaz as well as Jeff Roman for strategic planning.
  • A "Stamp of Approval" by the People of Milwaukee County.

RISING STAR
His name is JEFF ROMAN, Executive Director of the Office of African American Affairs.

A rising official for the People.  A rising advocate for demonstrating richness and completeness of thought, goodwill, EQUITY INCLUSION, and sound policymaking.  His making of the sausage was for ALL, with the least of these guiding the process and procedures.  He listened to his fellow members, took notes, presented the agenda, and warned of taking the time to be efficient and transformative.

Watch Jeff Roman, OAAA!!

=======================

Observation of Favoritism

A Caucasian group was on the agenda prematurely asking for millions and seemingly given an advantage due to their relationship with United Way and a limited employment program with a club on the corner of Water and Michigan in Milwaukee.  As a matter of fact, Ricardo Diaz called for a much-in-haste vote.  NOT GOOD Ricardo.  We have seen too much of that in federal funding - discrimination.

We also see too many lines to folks - committees, boards, housing power brokers, etc. to you.

Milwaukee Urban League 2021 Annual Meeting, GRADY CROSBY Message worth listening to

GRADY CROSBY - VP Public Affairs & Chief Diversity Officer
Johnson Controls

AUGUST 9, 2021

MILWAUKEE || Milwaukee Urban League had a Virtual Board Annual Board Meeting, the best part was the keynote speech by Grady Crosby.

Crosby gave a powerful address of what CSR/Corporate Social Responsibility means.  He challenged the Urban League board and its leadership to subscribe to the principles of accountability and reporting for impactful and transformative changes in the neighborhoods.  His delivery matches his purposeful role as a diversity director for Johnson Controls.

His specifics spoke to citizenship and closing the gaps between the corporate and neighborhood worlds.  He noted Black Lives Matter, police brutal killings, and George Floyd's death last year and its impact on the world.  He was eye-opening with his purpose of engagement, diversity-certain while sharing Johnson Control's gift of $2 Million to the Milwaukee Urban League for the growth of the people of the neighborhood.  He spoke of gifts but money gifts should be preceded by a commitment of the reasons for the gift.

Critique
The President's Report by Dr. Eva Hall failed:
  • To share African American businesses as members of the board of directors.
  • To reveal members of the neighborhood that are PARTNERS around the table of planning and decision-making.
  • To give "specific DATA" of impact for
    • business credit report
    • coat/clothing sharing
    • driver's report
    • email and phone outreach
    • job fairs
    • laptops
    • lunch and learn
    • summit attendees
  • To have neighborhood representatives with testimonial accounts of good standing for the Urban League.
  • To give EXPANDING advocacies and platforms that strengthen both the neighborhoods and the Urban League.
Given the many Caucasian-based corporations around the table - some not listed, to NOT have members of the African American neighborhoods is disrespectful and reducing the mega opportunity of "equity inclusion" citizenship.

MPA-LLC CITY/COUNTY-WIDE TRENDING – 4PM AUGUST 5, 2021, Board of Health

 MPA-LLC CITY/COUNTY-WIDE TRENDING – 4PM

AUGUST 5, 2021

MILWAUKEE BOARD OF HEALTH is Missing in the forefront of COVID-19

BOH/BOARD OF HEALTH Agenda lacks leadership given the surge of the Delta Variant and the behavior of the mayor and commissioner of health during the NBA Final.

Here's the deal, NO one in our leadership positions - Governor-County Executive-Mayor had their brain turned on.    We can say the same thing about our designated leaders of the PUBLIC SAFETY & HEALTH COMMITTEE of the city of Milwaukee and the Bucks leadership.

Kisten Johnson, Milwaukee Health Department Commissioner, and Tom Barrett, mayor, were enamored by two tickets from the Bucks if people came down.

The Final game brought in 20,000-65,000 excited folks yelling, spitting, drinking, and eating without any protection - REMINDERS, and mandates – mask-wearing, distancing, sanitizing, vaccination, and massive jumbotron safety ads were not seen.  The densely packed individuals were both inside and outside.

The DEER District became a petri dish for the Delta Variant.

Where are the Nine (9) of you?  You were asked and you accepted to serve as Board of Health representatives for the People.  Then serve you must.

Unfortunately, I am disappointed when I see qualified folks (according to BIO) in leadership positions of boards failing to “make a difference” – taking up space.

Folks, we are in HARM’S Way.  NO one is exempt.

Yes.  There are reports slated from the mayor’s office and commissioner of health, and Polco input.

There was no information for you to base substance – nor for us the People.  Therefore, I feel the board “knew not” of the substance of the reports.  You must be treated with due diligence and importance in decision-making.  We have folks sick and dying. We have you there representing us.

The American Rescue Plan
information should have been visible.

What do you ask of each of us for accountability?

DR. IAN MARTIN, as the “medical expert” on the team, we expect top-notch healthcare in emergency medicine for starters from you to help guide the team medically.  The Medical College of WI is constantly noted in the public square.  It receives a lot of funding on behalf of People of Color.

As a matter of fact, Dr. Ben Weston, MCW, is on the COVID Briefing on Tuesday and Thursday to represent MCW.  He and Darren Rausch, Greenfield, should be working with your group for clarity and continuity.

ERICKA SINCLAIR, Board VP, we are depending on you to come to the table with hands-on specifics to help us have a healthier city since you have decades of intersectionality.

RUTHIE BURICH-WEATHERLY, Board President, do your leadership for process and procedures give to the rising tide of the COVID virus spiked at the DEER District?  What are you bringing to the table for scrutiny of Peter Feigin, Buck’s President and Host of the NBA Final as well as Adam Silver, NBA Commissioner?  They sent out an OPEN INVITE for a throng of folks 20k-65K to gather but provided NO thoughts for public health during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  VISIT MILWAUKEE had a hand in this fiasco.  What do you have for them?

Do you see the benefit of the same?

The Agenda calls for attending the meeting with a telephone.  Since “landlines” are NOT the norm, who’s idea was this?  Especially since cost and charging the telephone should be factored.

 https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/762935533 +1 (408) 650-3123, Access Code 762-935-5333

There is AN EXTREMELY short amount of time allotted to us for Q & A.

It is reported that most Milwaukeeans do NOT have high-speed Wi-Fi.  This is one of the main items you should have for the American Rescue Plan funding.  By having access, then the website and online references will make sense and provide linkage for commitment.

Eviction Triage for Milwaukee – COVID-19 Public Health Moratorium Extension –

October 3, 2021 (61 days)

                                      CLICK - LISTEN - CNN

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky today signed an order determining the evictions of tenants for failure to make rent or housing payments could be detrimental to public health control measures to slow the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. This order will expire on October 3, 2021, and applies in United States counties experiencing substantial and high levels of community transmission levels of SARS-CoV-2.

Yesterday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) instituted a new moratorium on evictions that will run until Sunday, October 3. The new moratorium applies to counties across the country with “substantial” and “high” levels of COVID-19 transmission.

“The recent spike in COVID-19 in many major cities, including Milwaukee, has continued to create an economic struggle for so many. I want to thank those leaders in Congress who recognized this and fought for an extension of the eviction moratorium,” said Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs. “There is still, work to be done, and stakeholders in Milwaukee have to continue to work collaboratively on solutions to what may become a housing crisis, not just for the renters, but also for the property owners.”

Given the short-term nature of the extension, Alderwoman Coggs encourages residents to remain aware of assistance options that exist in the city. Among those options available are:

·  Social Development Commission’s Milwaukee Emergency Rent Assistance program: https://www.cr-sdc.org/services/mera or (414) 906-2700
