Layers of political bosses - decision-makers plus economic climate change cause for PAUSE
February 4, 2019
CITY-WIDE MILWAUKEE || American Politics is being played out in the media with the appearance of "disconnect" and PAUSE of the leadership of Foxconn due to the razzmatazz of the uncertainty in the marketplace. Yes. The ongoing Mueller probe of Donald Trump, change of guard from Scott Walker to Governor Tony Evers and last week's announcement of the GDP-Gross Domestic Product slowdown of China has much to say about the PAUSE confusion.
Terry Gou, Chairman-Foxconn, sought the office of Donald Trump to get a read on the trade decisions, the talks last week about China being in a vulnerable position for the first time in almost 30 years - THE DEBT TIME BOMB.
As far as getting an assurance from Trump, Gou is unwise to seek Trump for the savior of Foxconn. That is with the present Governor, his administration, elected officials in Madison, but mostly with the People.
Evers opportunity
Governor Tony Evers must put together a special team to look at all the agreements and proposals to right-side up Foxconn as a reliable and productive partner. Also, Terry Gou and Governor Evers must be seen more and more in discussions and photo ops - not Donald Trump, Robin Voss or those behind the scenes of the Walker Administration.
We, the People, Wisconsinites have a 25-year recovery window. Also, every Tom, Dick and Harry has been setting up deals that are "self-serving" - from Tim Sheehy-MMAC, elected and appointed Racine area leaders, UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, Marquette, and plutocrats around the state and world.
This is a great time for the present governor of Wisconsin to get his ducks in a row for implementing urban and rural BROADBAND, advancing an agenda that looks at the impact of trade, Foxconn as a distinct partner for growth given the 6.6% slowdown of the GDP growth rate, Terry Gou's commitment as a giant leader of technology in the private vs state companies in China as well as his stated commitment to the economic growth of the Wisconsin economy.
Chairman Gou and his team is getting a first-hand lesson to the 4-year turnover in American's government and the volatility of the marketplace demands that Foxconn work with the Consumer Digital Command.
People of Color & Work-Challenged
This means Foxconn MUST show deliberate outreach to African American, other People of Color and the Work-Challenged that make up the majority population of Milwaukee the largest city. The city where Foxconn has it corporate headquarters.
Likewise, we the People, seek the seriousness of Foxconn coming into Racine and Kenosha counties of southeastern Wisconsin receiving giant incentives and expected to deliver a creative and innovative AI-Artificial Intelligent 4.0 - 4.10 technology fingerprint that will help close the gap of unemployment and create IT as a staple in Wisconsin economy. This starts with the growth of each member of the population and its collective wealth-building.
Inclusion builds communication and TRUST. Right now, Foxconn has much to do in both areas for believability.
"I reached out to Foxconn through their Canadian representative about a year ago during their visit to Marquette and UW-M to examine the richness of the employee base and Intranet opportunities in rural and urban stakeholders. Foxconn failed to respond after repeated outreach. As a matter of fact, they are seen as aloof and working only with Caucasians", said Mary Glass, Chief Visionary Officer.
