Remembering Anthony Bourdain - The Free Spirit who brought World Ambience into your space in each episode of 'Parts Unknown

JUNE 9, 2018
SATURDAY MORNING | On Friday, June 8, 2018, we awoke to the news of Anthony Bourdain's death - It is an apparent suicide.

I am a longtime fan of Parts Unknown w/Anthony Bourdain, seen on CNN.  The shows for me were a means of discovery and escape to another place, with unknown families and their friends, street terrains in foreign lands and USA, forms of transportation, lots of walking and talking, boat rides, types of railroad travel,  by manual and powered bikes, environments of the marketplace in the streets, on farms, in homes, on hillsides, in ruins, in backyards, patios and points of interest eating with his fingers, chopsticks, bread and other food utensil - being at well-known and fine dining eateries/restaurants across the world, always having conversation with the locals, going to strip joints for entertainment and nightlife hot spots, to reverent places of history was the norm - a fun-filled man, always eating a little of everything culturely prepared and washing it down with lots of wine-beer-liquor of the area.  Once he attended a special society in Europe of men and for 9 hours they drank and ate.

His attire was, as a rule, casual t-shirt/shirt and jeans.

"Anthony, you have brought many hours of adventure to me and millions.  I am saddened by your death.  I go to your hour of death and I hope you did not suffer.  You were/are ONE OF A KIND", Mary Glass.

Good Thoughts to Anthony's daughter and family.
