CITY CENTER MILWAUKEE | DAY 94 |  Today, July 9, 2014, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC rollout includes MPA LLC D-2-D Youth TEAM Garden Project.  It is a joint collaboration with LIKE-MINDS within and outside of the 15 Districts of the city of Milwaukee to help Re-Design, Re-Brand and UN-Trap hidden talent and vetted businesses through "beautifying" vacant lot landscape - "one-RAISED-Garden" at a time.  The gardens start off with three (3) types.  They are:

• Food/Vegetable Garden
• Flower Garden
• Both (apartment, porch, balcony, verandah, yard)

We have started the collaboration off with DMZ COMMUNITY GARDENS, President - Dawn Powell and Vice President - Marna Windbush.

Giving your neighborhood "growing power" is their slogan.

Our first garden project together with DMZ is on the corner of 5th & Locust - across the street from Savoy's.

DMZ has agreed to add 3 more RAISED beds and MPA LLC will provide 5 cubic yards of  "soil" through collaborative partners.

"Investing in nature and beauty at the vacant lot level with one-RAISED-Garden at a time" is MPA LLC slogan.

JOIN US
On this Saturday, July 12, 2014, 5th & Locust, the Youth PEACE garden will be gifted 3 additional RAISED beds and 5 cubic of soil through DMZ and MPA LLC.  Come out and help us make this a D-2-D neighborhood EVENT.
