Strengthening BadgerCare / Riverwest Town Hall Monday
Dear Neighbor,
Yesterday I introduced legislation at the State Capitol to close a gap in BadgerCare. The Strengthen BadgerCare Act would capitalize on federal financing that’s now available to extend health coverage to the uninsured, save taxpayers money, help create jobs and lower taxes on Wisconsin employers. Expanding access to affordable health care is a key to middle-class security. Strengthening BadgerCare is the right thing and the smart thing to do for Wisconsin. Read more here.
I will be hosting a town hall meeting next Monday with Senator Chris Larson and other elected officials to discuss the upcoming legislative session and the state biennial budget. Town hall meetings provide an opportunity for an open discussion on issues and an excellent chance for you to have your voice heard. I encourage you to join the conversation.
